The staff at South Lake in the Womens Center is simply incredible. I delivered my baby on September 6th and from beginning to end all the nurses were professional, warm, kind and accommodating. I couldn't be happier with my delivery experience. Having previously delivered at Winnie Palmer on my first pregnancy, I cam confidently say that my experience at South Lake was FAR SUPERIOR. Thanks to all the wonderful nurses and staff!!!!

These sorry lazy rude ppl should be closed down along with death central they are just alike i guess the fact that im having tight chest pains feetswollen to capacity throat sore severe cough ongoing headache and blood pressure sky high mean let me wait 4-5 hours to go to the back and sit in the hallway on a stretcher... The heck !! And receive a high bill for being mis treated i wouldnt go back here ever worse experience ever.the guy told me a room is becoming available. Anothwr lady came out and told him just put me in the hallway while she took another patient . seem racistto me but whatever

Worst hospital I ever been to! They are so unprofessional here. All the employees rather be talking about their personal life than assistaning guest who are in pain. Doctors are rookies. Google doctors. Famous for misdiagnosising people. I lived here in Clermont for 2 years now.... had several bad experiences.. that I literally drive and hour away to go to a better hospital. CHUCK THE CHARGE NURSE is an inconsiderate and rude individual. Told me while I had a witness on FaceTime he wouldn't talk to me while being recorded when I was complaining about my experience. Not once apologize. He didn't even care to hear about my concerns. Talked over me rolled his eyes. 2nd visit two days later for the same problem. Write me OVER THE COUNTER PRESCRIPTION. Have me sitting in the ER for 4 hours listening to all the employees play around. A month ago I brought in my 5 year old daughter for running fevers and having spots pop up on her face. Doctor said it was a staff infection. Week later she got worst took her to a children's hospital in Orlando. She had hand foot mouth disease. The doctors at the children's hospital couldn't believe what south lake prescribed my child. They don't fully take in consideration what their patients are in the e.r for. They discriminate against race , and weather their on welfare or not. Hospital has so much potential but the employees / doctors don't take very much pride in their job. Residents of Clermont shouldn't be afraid to step foot in that hospital. We should be able to trust you providing us with equal service.. I seriously believe this hospital KILLS PEOPLE!! Take the drive and treat yourself to a hospital that cares.

Just entering the ER parking lot one of the valet stayed staring at us like we didn't belong and then tried to ask my wife that could barely stand medical questions. It kinda reminded me of a ghetto New York Street corner. Walking into the waiting room was awful worst then entering all the amusement parks or night clubs in Florida at the same time. My wife was in need of emergency help what she got was a security check second to none just to get seen at the check in. Almost 5 mins just to check her purse. All that before vitals. Everything else was down hill from there. LONG STORY SHORT I WOULD RATHER DIE THEN BE SEEN AT SOUTH LAKE HOSPITAL. I'm a retired veteran and i mean it when I say this is the worst hospital if seen in the states

They really need a new process to help expedite patients in and out. In a bigger emergency situation they are not efficient enough. Expensive game they play. I haven't been here for 9yrs. No improvement whatsoever. 4hrs waiting. Nurse yapping away while our discharge papers are sitting at her desk. Doctor barged in and scared us, forgot to introduce himself, apparently he was the only one working. They are doing some construction remodeling which is very inconvenient in an emergency situation. The ER is a journey from the entrance! Bad experience. Never again. Two-Stars for the doctor "trying" to help somewhat.
