It has been a few years since my mother death.  I am just now able to post a review because I was so traumatized by the unprofessional behavior,  the lack of compassion and the horrible attitude from this awful woman, Nichol.
They actually cremated my mother without telling me even though I told them that I wanted to be there. After she told me, so coldly,  that it had already been done I emailed her that "I am beyond words" and here is what she had to say... These are quotes that came directly from  Nichol~

"Your father, the contracting party (the payor), was informed as to when the cremation would take place. If you are beyond words, I would suggest that you speak directly to your father. Rest Well and Good Night."
"Also, it is clear that you have some unresolved issues (anger) with your mother. Taking that anger out on others is not going to bring your mother back. The reason for my success is that I wish others well. What makes you think that you can destroy what God has built? People like you make me so thankful for the family that I have. The family that I go home to every night and enjoy. Yes, one day I will be faced with the death of my mother and that is why I enjoy each and everyday with her."

OK so... I'm not sure that this is what someone who runs a mortuary is supposed to say to a person who had just lost her mother.
When I called this company they immediately told me the cost and immediately told me that they would discount that cost. I did not ask for a discount. It was bestowed upon me. This Nichol person however, had it in her head that I was all about the money and that I had asked her mother, the woman who took my initial call, to discount their services. I expressed this to Nichol  but she obviously didn't want to hear that. Here is another bit from Nichol~

"First of all Michelle hopefully this will be the last email with you. The negligence was with the doctor. As stated prior, the state will not allow for the cremation to take place until the doctor has signed the death certificate. Your mother's doctor did not sign the death certificate in a timely manner, which delayed the State of California in issuing the permit for the cremation to take place. 
As far as the crematory, they will NOT ALLOW you to witness the actual cremation. They will allow you to wait in their chapel, while we unload and you will not witness the process that takes place. They will then charge you $200. You had a problem with the mortuary charges, clearly you would have had a problem with them as well. 
As far as my attitude, I am very sensitive to my clients needs' but I will not be attacked by them especially when they are ignorant of the day to day operations of the mortuary."

Really? I'm guessing that anyone who does not run a mortuary would be ignorant to the day to day operations of a mortuary. I assume Nichol is there to guide people who have never run a mortuary and are ignorant to the process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will confess that my emails to her were not friendly. I did give her a really good verbal thrashing but each time I had a concern, she was so horrible,  that I lost my mind. 
This concludes my review and hopefully will bring me a bit of closure.

HORRIBLE SERVICE .. Today is nov 2 3015 n my father has been in their care since July 2015 . I have yet heard anything regarding my father care or updates on his cremation . I have paid this mortuary up front in full . They have yet fulfilled all the broken promise they have given me . I lost my father n have been place as his next kin . Knowing I never manned a funeral or cremation south Los Angeles had promise me they will take care of it for me . At only 23 losing the only parent I had south Los Angeles has tokeny family money and has yet got anything approve on my father cremation ands it 4 months after ... I have contacted doctors myself because the mortuary lack doing so . I have contact me Nicole and her mother the owner in results of getting my father remains to me . NEITHER has return my calls or emails . I have sun butted mortuary negligence to the state b the directors of mortuaries I repeat PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. With dealing with a love one I have yet have received my father remains or updates .
