So the review depends on what part of the hospital you are in. I am grateful for all the hard work of EMTs, doctors and nurses alike, but the emergency room wait seems very high. Even when there aren’t a lot of visible patients, there seems to be a long wait time between when you check in and are checked out. Also, while in the ER you may go past the doors but wait outside in the hallway on a bed for hours on end. The birthing unit was a completely different story. My youngest daughter was born here and the care and service were great.

I’ve always found this hospital to be clean and comfortable. More recently my son was born there and the service blew me away. Not just the maternity area, but all the areas we encountered the staff were polite and helpful.

I always have the best experience at this hospital!!! I had all my kids there and the staff was absolutely amazing, amazing. Very professional organized and caring. Today I had a minor surgery and I was treated in such an awesome manner. Everything went smooth and the staff again exceeded all my expectation with their genuine connection to me as a patient. South shore hospital is the best of the best hospital by far, well equipped with the latest technologies and the best team. Way to go guys!!! Keep it up 💋

Very good care only problem when it's busy they put you in Hall could stay there all night

I took my daughter to the ER for abdominal pain at 8 AM and was home by 11:30PM yesterday, minus her gallbladder! All of the care she received was top notch, the hospital was immaculate and the ER/OR staff were so efficient that we were able to go home the same night! Thanks Dr. Ghushe and all of your staff!
