Southdale Dental Associates has been my provider since 1989. They run a very modern practice. Every few years the equipment is updated to incorporate the latest technology. Most importantly the practice is oriented toward preventive care. In my 29 years I have only had treatment that required care beyond the normal cleaning twice.

I have been a patient here for five years now and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone there is very gentle and understanding. I'll be a patient there for many years to come!

My visit to day was excellent as usual. Dr Mehta gave me a "straight on" opinion about my dental status. He gives the utmost of care. Love that about him because he is direct, honest and through. Anne, my hygenist is the best! Gifted with excellent skills and a joy to visit every six months. What a team! There is no one like them out there in dental world!!! Thanks for keeping my mouth health and beautiful!

Dr. Telander replaced a crown for to me today, and as he did his job, I was struck by the incredible skill and patience he must have to get things right. I’ve been a patient here for over 20 years and I continue to find a high degree of expertise and genuine care. It’s a welcoming and professional in every sense of the word.

I give them two stars because the receptionist was friendly and the hygienist was very knowledgeable (Karen). I found Southview Dental Associates online and went there because of the proximity to my house and because of their high reviews. I went to this clinic as a new patient to get a cleaning and to check why my gums bleed when I brush my teeth. During my visit, I had a panoramic X-ray, four bitewing X-rays, and the dental hygienist used a probe to measure the depth of my gum pockets. She said that I had 5mm pockets which indicates gum disease. She was very knowledgeable and explained to me what this means and advised me to make an appointment with them again as soon as possible so that they can do a dental cleaning for me since there’s not enough time that day (there was 35 minutes until the end of my appointment). At the end of the day, I asked for my chart notes and treatment plan but no one gave it to me. I really wanted to know the treatment plan for my gums and to get an opinion on my X-rays from a dentist since I didn’t see a dentist at this clinic. I made a second appointment that day at a different clinic (the same day I was seen at their clinic) because I didn’t feel like I got the care that I needed from Southdale Dental Associates. I called the Southdale clinic three times to ask them to send me everything that they had on me so that a different dentist can look at me the same day. They only provided this to me the third time I called because I told them that I’m already at the second dentist’s office. Despite coming in as a new patient to Southdale Dental Associates, I did not have time to see a dentist and only spoke with the hygienist because we started 10 minutes late. I had 35 minutes left after the X-rays and gum probing. Was that really not enough time to be seen by a dentist or to provide me with a treatment plan? Going forward, I will likely be taking my business elsewhere.
