I think they are all pretty great there, but when I called to see if they received a fax I had been waiting on, the lady on the phone would ask me a question than cut me off. She wouldn’t really let me answer the question. I was also in the middle of asking a question when she (I guess) thought the conversation was over cause she immediately said okay talk to you later and hung up.... I was in the middle of a question. I think some of their customer service could be a little better when it comes to being on the phone, or at least this one lady needs to go through a customer service course to help her out.

I've made three trips to the PHC in the last six months. The service has been consistently slow, even with appointments. The clinic staff has made basic, avoidable mistakes with my child's vaccines every time. They haven't read our records, resulting in an extra, unnecessary vaccine. They have mistimed another vaccine, resulting in our having to have it redone, and they tried to place the blame for both mistakes on someone else. 

Today, they refused to give me a vaccine I need in order to safely care for a newborn next month because there is an error in the state's records falsely showing that I already received the vaccine. 

Although that records error wasn't the clinic's fault, they didn't care that I could prove I never had the vaccine (as I could prove I wasn't even living in the state at that time). They suggested I contact the clinic that submitted the false record, even though they were aware that I didn't even have the clinic's name. I asked them what I should do to get vaccinated if I couldn't figure out how to contact the clinic. They basically shrugged me off and let me know that their clinic will not help me get the medical care I need, despite any proof I have that I haven't had it and despite the knowledge that it would be dangerous for me to be around a newborn without it.

They did suggest that I try a pharmacy instead, which is still more frustrating, as it demonstrates that they are perfectly aware that, even if I had had the vaccine, it would be safe for me to get a duplicate. I don't know whether there is not enough funding to hire employees who care or if they are simply bound by bureaucracy, but I came away feeling that the clinic has little interest in actually providing the services they offer.

Southeast Public Health Center's services have been incredibly frustrating. Between their refusal to administer a necessary and safe vaccine and their chronic inability to follow basic vaccination protocol, I will not be going back.

Really not much to say. It's a public health office. They were relatively slow when I went on, but as with all doctors offices they always take longer than you think they would.
