Reviews

Great little "overnight" park.  The new owners are clearly working their fingers to the bone renovating the park.  Their efforts show.  The bathhouse is exceptionally clean, and I love the Kerouac quotes on the shower and stall doors.  Very bohemian.  We've only stayed once, but since we go up to the mountains regularly, this place will likely be our normal first night stop in the near future.

We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and our hotel did not hold our reservation. All the hotels and campgrounds in a tri-state area were booked and Karlis in the office was able to get us a cabin at their site around midnight. He stayed awake and helped us get settled in. Exceptional service and an awesome, pet friendly facility. We will definitely be back on the future!

This is a nice place to stay right off the highway, very quiet,  with very clean bathrooms and a laundry room. Karlos was very helpful. My wife, my 2 kids and I really enjoyed our stay. They have a pool and a small park for children. Even though it's relatively close to the highway, it did not bother our sleep and we sleep on a rooftop tent.

New owner, Karlis is working very hard to try and get this place into shape. Things are looking good, but a new campground  definitely a work in progress. Very nice young man w/ a ton of energy. Couple permanents, a couple tents, but everyone very nice, hardly saw them. Mostly  saw him and his work crews hitting it hard to get things looking good. Not a large campground, but clean, site was good, shaded a bit, convienent hookups, decent pool where we spent most of our time. Like anywhere, there are bugs indigenous to area, but you have them everywhere, it's camping. He is trying to keep control of that as well. Pet friendly, bath house, propane, stores one exit either way, as well as a local convienence store/gas at end of road. New pavilion, great for small camping groups, family reunions, etc. Camp Club Discount Friendly! This young man is gonna make a great campground when he gets done putting in the continued Blood, Sweat & Tears! Keep working hard like you have been Karlis, and you will reap what you sow! Thanks again, and we will be back!
