Reviews

Second visit here at this campground.  In November, it's cold and few campers, but still pretty off the water.  Now in a warm Fenruary, it has warmed up, and the park is alive with families and few spots left to camp.  Lake Seminole is beautiful, the park is clean and the lower branches have been trimmed so the view is gorgeous over the lake as the sun beams and shows its reflection to the colorful sunsets in the evening.  Showers, laundry, and bathrooms, shelter house, and boat ramp with an extra parking lot for boaters.  Generally a quiet place to relax, walk, ride bicycles, picnic, and of course camp.

We stayed here after our reservations were cancelled at another park because of Tropical storm Hermine. This park took us in and we had a great time here. The park was clean and well kept and the staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The small towns nearby didn't have a lot to do but we enjoyed kayaking in the lake.

Beautiful place. One of the nicest COE Campgrounds we've stayed in.

Quiet campground run by the Corps of Engineers. Mix of back-in and pull-through sites with water and electric hookup. Dump station at the entrance. They have a Pavillion for campers to use along with sports equipment and lifejackets to borrow. Some lakefront sites. Several shower houses and a laundry facility.
Some sites have pretty good shade, others get more sun. There is a boat ramp for camper use.
