Beautiful park. Camping sites are well kept and nice, clean bathrooms. Small playground for kids and a sandy beach make it kid friendly.

This is a beautiful park for boaters, fisherman and anyone who enjoys nature. We camped here in a 39 ft motor home. The pads for the motor homes are concrete so it's very easy to level up. Lots are spacious with picnic table, grill and wooden prep table. Currently, they do not have sewage hookup. Although that didn't affect us negatively because our motor home has large sewage tanks. Campers with trailers and fifth wheels have been very disappointed with that. (For years this park had full hookup) If hiking is your thing be forewarned that there is only one nature trail here. It is a short one and not difficult but even though it's short you get to see a wetland area where I saw deer and egret by sitting quietly in a nice blind built for viewing. It also had benches scattered throughout the trail. Came for a couple of days and extended our stay. We WILL be coming back. :-) Also campground hosts are awesome..right now Marvin and Brenda Powell are here. This is our second stay in a park where they host and it's always a pleasure to deal with a host that talks to you like a friend. Also need to mention the nice dog run located behind the trash containers. ENJOY! We did.
