A great place to train! Check their website for class times and descriptions. They have classes for everyone form beginners to advanced. Bill and his staff are very friendly and highly recommended.

We signed up my six year old one year ago around the time my son turned six years old. My son had told us several times that he wanted to be a ninja, so we took the practical route and signed him up for TKD. Its been exciting to see him learn and grow over the last year. From the side line I've been able to witness many young guys and girls learn respect, discipline and self control, while gaining the confidence to work hard toward their goals. TKD is a great workout, and a sport that is year round and life long. Thank you To SMMA for the love they show to my son each week. They say is takes a village to raise a child, and I am happy they are part of ours.

Bill was my friend and I had trained with him on and off from nov2016 til oct2017. I always paid the mutually agreed prices I owed him, I put him before my other martial arts, and I gave him great respect. I am a man who has self-worth and stands his ground with dishonorable employers. I confided this to Bill when we met, explaining there will be times my payments would be late due to unemployment periods; he consented and I never betrayed him, but after almost a year of knowing each other, he terminated my membership, because he believes our lives are not our own, but belonging to those over us, and he did not like that I was unwilling to live my life as he thought I should. Who does he think he is, and where is the honor and professionalism in his action?
He betrayed our friendship, and terminated my membership because I wouldn't let him control me.

Both of my kids have been attending Southern Minnesota Martial Arts for three years and have benefited tremendously from the experience. It is a good work out and I know they have gained skills to make them feel more confident. Plus, I appreciate the flexibility of when they can attend since our schedule can vary week to week. Finally, we all love the atmosphere at SMMA, which is focused on learning, respect, and safety with the right mix of fun.

My daughter is 7 and always has a blast in class! We feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we wall in to the moment we leave. You definitely become part of the family! Thank you for being great role models for my daughter!
