Horrible place. Smells like a garbage dump. Patient's blood sugar dangerously low on many occasions. Some staff act like they just left prison and will give you an attitude if you report them. One of the nurses told me that I'm lucky my tires werent slashed after I complained to management about her nasty coworker. Garbage not emptied, bathroom absolutely filthy, flies in the facility. Dirty window sills covered with dead bugs. Room Phone would not ring. Only 1 tv per 2 person room. DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU LOVE HERE!!!
NOW they broke his hip! They already were not bathing or dressing my dad until a visitor demands it, pain meds not being administered correctly as in they are keeping the meds from him, not giving PT as ordered by his Dr. He went there for PT and Rehab and now he is in MUCH worse condition. Staff is as bad as your worse imagination. Admin is unresponsive. SICKENING!! Our vets and seniors deserve more.
I was very happy with the hiring process everybody there was very nice and helpful I'm grateful for a opportunity at southwestern nursing it works perfect with my living situation my shift I promise I won't let you down and I'll work to the best of my ability thank youl
Very positive and helpful receptionist. Patient and family seemed comfortable. Rehab being done as needed
G there is a nurse at this facility. Her name is precious. She’s the worst person in the world doesn’t pay attention to the patients my brother was there for nine days and they treat him horrible. Do not send your love one day you’ll regret it my brother, only lasted nine days that he passed away at the age of 47. Every time he needed something they would not bring it to him. It was on their time. Every time he push the call button they make sure to turn it off, they left him well taken care of him. They left him falling over. They left him in the wheelchair for three hours. He was in so much pain. They left him falling to the side and I heard him scream in the hallway while I was on my way in to check on him and take care of him. He was afraid of them, but they was one nurse who was the sweetest thing and felt his compassion. Her name was Mary She is a sweetheart the rest I promise you do not leave your love ones in there a nightmare, filthy smelly, leaving all the patients to suffer. Do not clean them and left him soiled.
I really want to thank the care and consideration of the Southwestern nursing staff. I especially appreciate Ms Lea, my brothers nurse for keeping me updated on Glenn's transfer to nearby hospital and back. She is the best.
The business office has no clue what they are doing, I tried to get answers to questions and not one employee could answer them. Or make the time to call me back and answer them. I had my last straw when I went to visit and found out my mother was not given a dinner tray. Whole facility is awful
Nursing staff this afternoon, commissary, and occupational therapy are excellent. Update: Fiancee had her accordion file, containing utility bills, checkbook, and other oddments stolen from her room. Senior RN on duty was worse than useless, urged fiancee & I NOT TO NOTIFY POLICE, FILE THEFT REPORT. Feeble excuses offered by certain staff members. Met w/Nursing Director Janelle following day, who resented fact that theft report was filed w/local police. Janelle was insensitive, insulted our intelligence, made empty promises. Criminal neglect and the nastiest food you'll ever eat. I got an open wound bleeding on my foot for 18 hours now, nurses keep blowing me of and the other foot is infected and oozing pus because they refuse to change dressings as doctor ordered.
Thank you Shelly for your awesome work and smooth Admission process! She is a person who helped move mountains! To whom I am very grateful.
