We had a wonderful stay at the Plantation Inn.  Contrary to some of the bad reviews we read beforehand, our stay at the Plantation Inn was incredible!  From the moment we checked in, the entire staff was friendly and helpful.  The interior of the inn was very quaint and charming – just what you would expect at an inn.  In other words, this is not your typical hotel!  And, the grounds at the inn were well kept, clean, and beautiful and there is an incredible view of the canals.  
When we opened the door to our junior suite, we found that it was also quaint and charming, as well as being extremely clean and tastefully decorated.  It looked like a beautiful, refined room at a great Bed & Breakfast!  The pool area was very nice and the pool itself was clean.  The pool and patio area are situated directly beside the canals, so there is a wonderful view of the waterway there.  My two year old son really enjoyed watching the boats go by.  Speaking of my son, we found everyone and everything at the Plantation Inn to be extremely kid friendly.
We had the opportunity to enjoy three fabulous meals at the restaurant there.  The food at each meal was wonderful and the service was impeccable.  The kids’ menu was great, too – many choices and very reasonably priced.
Overall, our experience at the Plantation Inn was one that won’t soon be forgotten.  The staff there is great – helpful and kid-friendly.  The inn (not HOTEL!!!) is very charming, the grounds are beautiful, and our suite was lovely.  If our family is ever in Crystal River again, we’ll most certainly be staying at the Plantation Inn!!!

Megan is an amazing gifted professional! Her hair always comes out awesome she definitely takes her time and her facials are so relaxing!!!  I would recommend her to anyone!!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful and peaceful setting.  The room was nice and we will stay there again next year.

Not worth the $130 per night rate...and the food is awful.. How can you charge $11 for eggs and not get it right?
