I call him Mr Sparkle , but the owner of Sparkles Shoe Repair, is more of a magician . I’ve brought him some hard to repair handbags and strange problems with heels and he always finds a solution. He also makes shoes and can make those expensive Gucci loafers look like new. Most of the time , he has things done the same day or in one day. Highly recommend ! Mrs Sparkle also does alterations on clothing! Will be there Monday! Prices are not cheap but he’s rescuing something that no one else could fix so that has to be taken I to account !

Used to really like coming here, had multiple things fixed (altho they often underestimated how long it would take - definitely call before picking up!). Until my wife brought some shoes she picked up at Goodwill she wanted refurbished. When she dropped the shoes off, the person behind the counter couldn't tell her a price (despite that they normally insist on payment before taking in repairs). We trusted them since they had been good to us. When she came to pick them up (after having been there before but the shoes weren't ready as usual) they hadn't fixed the shoes, aside from the soles, charged $43, then while still holding her card, told her "no, actually, it should be $60" and charged her again. When trying to work something out (partial refund? for late work, and non-complete work), they told us "we can do a better job for an extra $35" and "these are 500$ shoes, why are you complaining about $60" (once again, these shoes were bought at Goodwill). No respect for the customer whatsoever, they probably figured "rich kid, we can just charge them whatever" when we are most definitely NOT rich, and charging us extra for a non-complete, late job HURTS. TL;DR: good when they fix things, bad when they decide to pull one over on you. Shop at own risk. No customer service.

They never fail to perform. Great old school place. My shoes come out better than new!

Nothing but great service and repair for me. Even fixed a heel tip on the spot when I lost it in a side walk gap. I will continue to use them.

Been here several times always honest if something isn't gonna be repairable he's straight forward which I can respect
