Backward, ignorant and incompetent. These are the words to describe South Carolina. You will find this "in spades " at this Courthouse! !!!Everyone here is not going to give you what you expect.The clerks don't do their jobs correctly. (My mom was one in another competent city.)I'm not gonna drag you through all the case details, but the main things that John Pack of Magnolia Property Mismanagement did blatantly wrong..Like not vetting the tenants and stealing money from the security deposit, went right over this magistrates head.And if you try to appeal. ....first, good luck trying to get these hicks to process the paper work

My mother has been fighting to get her deceased husband's medical records for months now. She needs these records within 6 months of his death in order to get the life insurance policy he left her. They act like they have no idea of how to do there job. The woman who we seen was very rude, slamming the phone down and treating people like they where stupid. We waited what we were told we had to wait to get power of attorney and when we came back we where informed they do not do that (this is probate court, what else would we be there for) that we would have to make a separate appointment for it and wait another month. Meanwhile, my mother (who is disabled) has no income and no way to pay her bills. All she needs is his medical records and these people act like they are put in such inconvenience to have to talk to her and then play dumb when she ask reasonable questions they should be able to answer.

Very unhappy front desk people. My first time in there I didnt really know what to do and I asked the front and she did explain it to me, but in a way like I was wasting her oh so valuable time. My PO is a pretty cool guy though from what I could tell. Very helpfull and straight up with you...
