Good selection of shoes and clothes, especially tennis shoes. This is where most of my family goes to get their tennis wear. Staff is helpful and nice. Stuff is kind of expensive though, and there is not much selection when it comes to swim wear like jammers and speedos

I go into the Sport Haus every time I need a new shoe, whether that be for running, hiking, or everyday comfort. I describe what I'm looking for, and because I really care about the comfort of the shoes, I usually try on about 10 pairs until I find the right ones. I always leave with a pair of comfortable shoes for what I'm looking for. I've worked with many of the employees, even the owners, and they are very knowledgeable about the different brands of shoes and how high the heel is and material, etc. I've been going to the store for 15+ years since I was a kid looking for soccer cleats and it's been nothing but a positive experience. Super friendly and helpful! This is a small- family business that I recommend to everyone!

   I called ahead to see if they had a particular running shoe in stock for my son.  The young man in the shoe department did a quick search and said that they did have the shoe so I asked them to hold them for me at the counter. 
   When I arrived the hold was at the counter but it was the wrong shoe; last years model instead of the current release.  I was quite annoyed having driven across the county with my 3 young children and 6-month-old baby, only to find that they did not actually have the shoes.  What a waste of time and gas!  
   The young lady behind the counter offered to double check with the Shoe Guy so we followed her back (through the maze of overstocked inventory).  The owner was alerted to the issue and tried to help us but after I said there must have been some misunderstanding her reply was "we didn't know you wanted something so specific".  Ughhh!  It's not like I wasn't clear on the phone.  She then proceeded to talk MY 11-YR OLD SON into some other shoes.  I was further annoyed, as a parent this time.  My kids do not get much in the way of new school clothes, but I do let them choose one pair of shoes to their liking and I do my best to honor their wishes, so I do not need some saleslady telling my child he picked the wrong shoes.  In addition, the pair she had on hold for us clearly said "Girl's" on the tongue of the shoe.  So then she's trying to talk him into buying a girl's shoe...whether they were incorrectly marked by the company or not, naturally he was not having anything to do with it.  
    The whole experience was like showing up at a car dealership to buy some new car as advertised only to be persistently offered last year's model instead (for the same price, nonetheless).  The Sport Haus family needs to better know the inventory and in the event there is an error,  at the very least, offer a discount on last year's stock.
   The one good thing that came of it was that she did measure my son's foot so at least we got helpful sizing information; for that I gave them 2-stars instead of 1. Next time I will skip the hassle and shop online.  I'd rather take my chances with sizing and maybe have to send it back for a free exchange, than waste my time here
