The Spring Hill Cemetery is the largest and most historical in Kanawha County. It's more than a cemetery however, which reflects it's new name "Spring Hill Memorial Park".  Most of Charlestons founders are buried there, along with pioneers from across the county.

Usually very nicely maintained. The visit in late August 2016 found that much of the cemetery had not been mowed. Talking with mowing staff, I discovered that only 4 of the 20 plus normal crew was working. Everyone else had quit. Sad. Still, though, I believe the City will get things in order and not let this beautiful place deteriorate.
