My first visit to Sprocketts was last week for a tune-up  I did not realize how much my bike needed a tune-up until I rode it home.  The difference was night and day.  I had become accustomed to a squeaky and slightly wobbly ride, but my ride back from their shop was silky smooth.  I feel like I have a new bike.  They went above and beyond my expectations from previous tune-ups I've had.  The recycled bicycle philosophy is pretty awesome, too.  And, that sweet dog in their photo is in the shop and totally cool.  :-)

My bike needed a tune up in a big way.  I didn't feel safe riding it.  After taking it to Michael's shop and getting it back it works like its brand new.  I have way more confidence when riding it.  Super great service and very knowledgeable, I'll be back!   Thanks so much for extending my bikes life!

Awesome! A great shop with great service! I took my bike here which had a variety of problems and everything was taken care of. If you are close to Sprocketts make this your bike shop.

I am sorry but this is really really hard to believe. I have been to this very same shop now for over a year. I have had several friends go there too. No one I mean no one has ever said anything but great things about them. The owner has always been nothing but super kind and very knowledgeable and passionate about his business. Plus who doesn’t love a place that will go out of their way to help you learn about the very thing you are there for. Once again I am sorry but you start out by saying that: Initial experience was good. The owner did the work himself and was very professional and gave me good advice. Then go on to say that you have changed your own cables before. Always fixing it with zero issues. (So are you claiming you are perfect?) Then you go on to say that he insisted that it must have fallen off. In your great haste to get into a shop that was closed and has hours posted right at eye level. That you went in anyways? Taking in a bike that was in need of repair could it be even remotely possible that you didn’t even notice that the part was missing? Having an owner stop his and take the time to even help is rare these days. SO- if you think you think you could fix it better and you know exactly what you are talking about and are 100% never wrong. Then yes should go somewhere else and get your work done. After all getting great customer service starts with being a great customer. 
And to the owner of Sprocketts.. I look forward to coming into your shop for many more years to come.
