The best hamburger I've had in town! The mix of spices and other ingredients in the patty made quite a difference. I also have to say how much I love the home fries they make. I would certainly recommend Square Plates for a great omelette, fries, burger, or other classic diner food. The owner is very pleasant and approachable as well. Thanks for a great meal, and I'll be back again soon!

Possibly the best restaurant in Peterborough. Everything my family and I have had here has been phenomenal, and it's all very reasonably priced. Go for the special of the day, you won't regret it.

We wanted to try this place as it has awesome reviews; but honestly it was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. First off it took 25 mins and three requests to get a cup of coffee. I had the burger, it was overly salty and yet somehow still bland. The toppings included a hunk of lettuce, a thick slice of onion and a huge glob of mustard. That's it. The fries were fresh cut, but tasted like nothing. Overall, we were not impressed and will never eat there again. Hopefully they were just having an off day.

Amazing food! Fresh cut fries were amazing and so was the eggs Benedict. The burger had lots of flavour. Awesome breakfast

Amazing breakfast! Very friendly and quick service. The food was delicious and amazing prices . We will be back!
