Squares is one of my favorite spots, some of the other clubs I've been to are relatively run down inside. Squares is decorated beautifully from the cool deer head over the DJ booth to the tiles on the wall. My favorite thing about squares by far is their unique live band! What separates this club from others is the classiness as well as the people. I recommend this club to anyone looking for a great night in the city.

This place is awesome, I came here with some friends and had a blast. They had live music and the crowd was top quality. On par or better than the popular clubs in meatpacking. The decor is also aweome, you can tell that they put serious effort into making this place top notch. If you come I recommend you dress well as the door can be difficult!

I wish I could give this place a 5 star review!

I went on a Saturday night two days before Halloween. Around 11-12 it was not crowded and the music, although a bit all over the place (transitions were weird) was decent. Decor and atmosphere were pretty cool. Drinks are EXPENSIVE here so be prepared. 

As it started to fill in a bit more around 1am we were asked by staff to move off of one of the couches as someone had purchased bottle service and a table. Nothing unusual. We got up and moved away from the area and a group of people took our place. You could still move around in the place, but it was fairly crowded at this point. A bouncer came up to us and told us we needed to move away from the table. I was standing maybe 6 inches away and none of us were touching/leaning on it in any way. We attempted to move, but there really wasn't any room to move away any further. The bouncer then moved in between us and the table and continued to more forcefully tell us to move. We nicely told him that we were trying, but there was no where to go. The bouncers focused in on us and no one else near any other tables. Although minding our business, we were asked to leave after that.

Not sure whether this stemmed from staff or from the person who bought the table, but either way, we were treated poorly and unfairly. I will not be going back. It's a shame too because it seemed like a cool new place.
