Best hospital I've ever been to hands down. Dr. Connor listened to me and Nurse Gina was so very sweet and kind. A breath of fresh air.

7/30/17 Early Sunday morning I was unable to breathe sufficiently and I was unsure about going here because of the God awful way the ER had treated my wife when she was in severe pain and bleeding. I was scared I might not be able to make it to Round Rock so I went here. The severity of my problem seemed to lessen as I entered the ER room. I entered to find the room vacated and no one in attendance at the triage desk. As I peered inside through the window a lady saw me and came to invite me inside. Quite a difference to the usual BS way triage operated on previous trips, asking useless questions while you are in pain. The lady took me into a room and got me onto a bed, adjusting it for comfort and a nurse got me an extra pillow to help me sit upright as that helped me to breathe. At that time the lady who admitted me asked me the necessary questions and thankfully I has a printed sheet with my meds with me. I happened to hit the ER at shift change time. I can only remember one nurse's name, Gina, she drew blood and left the IV set up in my arm. She and the first nurse told me goodbye as I spoke with the Dr., whom I will call "alphabet" because he had a long name I cannot even begin to pronounce. I think he said to call him Jim, he was very nice and asked a few questions before he said goodbye. I guess I was the only person in the ER at that time. I do know I received excellent care from everyone present. The new Dr. was named Ramsey, a big ole boy that exuded confidence. I liked him as soon as he spoke, he was not condescending and spoke layman's very well. I hate not remembering that nurse's name, she was so very nice and did everything possible to comfort me and my accompanying wife. She has this unique voice and I could listen to her speak and understand what she said. A big plus when you are near deaf. If everyone receives the same level of care I did, it is hard to comprehend some remarks I read here. I will follow the Dr.'s instructions because what he said was a very intelligent observation, not some "canned" advice. My name is Boyd Jackson, I have lived most of my life here in Georgetown.

I went to the ER on Thursday am at around 4 am for kidney stones. I just want to say that the staff was FABULOUS! They showed so much caring and concern, as I was in extreme pain. THANK YOU doesn't seem quite enough. I am new here to Georgetown and Googled the closest ER, and I was so impressed with their care and concern. Some of the nurses were at the end of their shift and still they smiled and had such a great attitude. Thank you so much for making me feel better!

I had a family member admitted to the hospital not long ago, late at night. The nurses and doctor were very caring and I knew she was safe in their hands. I am very grateful to all the staff. I wish I could remember their names and thank each one personally.

My son was born here in July and I can not say enough great things about the staff and facility here! From start to Finish, everyone was helpful, kind, patient and truly a pleasure. The first nurses we met were Amy and April, and they were so wonderful to us! I'm really not sure if April was ever even officially one of our nurses as her name was not on our board, but she checked in on us quite a few times, was really helpful with answering questions and help me laugh through some difficult moments. Amy is seriously an angel and I selfishly did not want her to go when her shift ended. She was so kind and patient with me during the harder parts of my labor, she was so attentive keeping the monitors in place, making adjustments and trying things to help make my labor easier and less painful. she helped me learn how to feed my new little one, we shared stories and I felt she treated my husband, my son and I like family. I only wish my son was born a little bit earlier so she could have been with us for that as well . Everybody in the operating room during my C-section was so friendly and comforting during what was one of the scariest moments in my life. After a short recovery we moved into the second room with Julie. She was so sweet! I had a whole new new round of questions at this stage in my adventure and she stayed with me, answered everything patiently, and helped me so much. She was even so careful to not wake my husband when she came in for night checks, and respected my Wish to keep my son in the room when possible. When she went home (and I was very sad to see her go to), Amy came back and was again such a pleasure! When she left, Julie came back and was just as sweet! she was replaced by Simone and she was so helpful and wonderful! Simone really took the time to make sure we understood everything that was going on, and did so with such kindness! When she went home, we met Besty who was so selfless and kind! She even offered to take Atlas to the nursery and watch him so i could rest! When i declined (addicted to my baby, y'all) she continued to offer help at every turn. She was replaced by our final nurse, Lana. Lana was very knowledgeable and very sweet. She made sure our discharge went smoothly and that we understood what to do and expect when we got home. Everybody I mentioned really and truly made us feel comfortable and treated us like we were friends or family. I know this is a long review and kudos to anybody still reading, but all of these wonderful people really deserve a shout-out. This is my first baby and they all helped to make it such a wonderful positive experience. I'll never forget any of them and I'll always be grateful for everything. Sincerely- Reema, Michael and baby Atlas♡
