Not the best hospital in the state but they do the best they can. For a small town hospital I think they are doing a fantastic job!

Was left alone for an hour while sobbing in pain. Walked out of my room to find help and not a single person was anywhere in sight. Waited 45 minutes for a cup of water that I only got when i reminded them about it. Felt very alone and scared with little help. Took an hour after getting in a room before I even got an I.V. over all terrible experience.

Took my mom to the E.R. this week due to her talking out of her head. My mom is 73 years old. Didn't know who I was and talking to imaginary people, etc. This came on gradually during a 24 hour period. The hospital did lab's, a urinalysis and a CT scan. All came back normal. Her cancer doctor had prescribed a steroid a couple of days before this. A possible side effect is psychosis. We were there for about 5 hours. The doctor said it would take a few days for it to get out of her system. When my dad asked what were we suppose to do, the doctors response was the "the best you can". My problem is the the release paper had on there that there is medicine they could have given her to help her mental state. And it also stated she was stable when she was released. I'm sorry, but she was talking to the paper towel dispenser cause she thought it was the nurse whispering about her. Does this sound normal???? Jesus.
