I arrived at St. Francis ER  on 21 Dec. 17. around 5:00 pm.  Let's talk about the appearance of the waiting room: Very unsanitary!!! Dried vomit on chairs, food on chair and floors! There is an odor floating around! The front desk receptionists are having happy hour!!!💅🎉 talking about personal issues!!  I asked them to please sanitize the chairs and was told they would, but NOTHING happened!! SO after 
2 hours, I have not received my band for my wrist which is usually given right away! I go up to the desk  and ask how long is the wait and was told " 2, 3, 4 hours, I really don't know." ...with a smile😡!!!   I sit down back down next to the lady with PINK EYE who could have gone to Urgent Care!  I stare at the lady coughing her lungs up without a mask!!!  At this point, I'm feeling grossed out and the thought of  me getting even sicker sitting there hits hard!!  St. Francis needs to do BETTER!  1. 1 person per patient  2. Minor illnesses go to Urgent Care 3. Sanitize every 30 minutes 4. Come up with a better strategy to treat patients. 5. Make it a must that coughing patients wear a mask! (I wore a mask for protection from the people coughing) Don't just take our money! Give us great care and kindness! Thank you!

I've been the ER waiting room for 5 hours. I'm getting worse. There hasn't been a report on why it's slow. No one has given me a Tylenol, nothing. I believe I have the flu. I wish they could do better.

Cold and Flu season is upon us once again and literally everybody catching the flu seems to immediately decide to run to the ER for antibiotics.  This isn't St. Francis's fault. The fact they either can't or won't turn people away for such a minor ailment however is. If you have a cold/flu go see your primary care physician or urgent care instead of clogging up the ER and stopping people who actually need emergency care from getting it. People could actually end up dead because of this. Lastly no I do not care if you think antibiotics work for the cold/flu, they do not. They work on bacteria and and the cold/flu is a virus. On to of the fact you can build up a tolerance to antibiotics. People taking antibiotics when they don't need them is why we have deadly infections like MRSA. I know it's too much to of an ask for people to use common sense. But that's what I'm going to do.

I'm glad this hospital just got sued for 26M in malpractice. This hospital is a hostel for lack of better words. The physicians are horrible, most of them are either DOs or achieved their MD out of country with medical schools that are a joke. Good for you St. Francis, you'll be much better off going out of business instead of employing nurses, administrators and physicians that shouldn't be touching innocent patients.

The only hospital I trust. Not only because I have an extreme dislike for the medical center, but also because pretty much every experience I've had here has been amazing. I delivered my baby in the Women's Hospital and it was absolutely one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my life. I did have a few rude nurses, but the good nurses made up for it tremendously. If you're on here reading all of the bad ER reviews but looking for a place to deliver, DELIVER HERE. It was an amazing birth experience. 5 Stars.
