Throughout my time with my French bulldog Napoleon, I received nothing but the best care from the staff at St. Marks Veterinary Hospital. He was treated as part of their family. I have to acknowledge Christine and Michelle, who loved Napoleon almost as much as my husband and I. They were always welcoming and professional. From what I observed with all the clients that came through the Hospital’s doors everyone was treated with care and respect. I recently lost my Napoleon, but I would absolutely not hesitate to use the services of St. Marks Veterinary Hospital in the future. I hold Dr. Haddock and all the staff in the highest regard, and my husband and I thank them for everything they did for us, and Napoleon.

The owner is the worst. Money hungry. She doesn't care about your pets health or comfort. She didn't even listen. Every animal is unique and every pet owner knows their kids better than anyone. She treats them like commodities. Money money money money monry. Do not bring your pet here! ...last time I saw another customer bring in an ER-they wouldn't even look without the credit card in their hands and they were his regular vet.

I've been there with two different cats 3 or 4 times. The staff and the doctors are very friendly and courteous. They never rushed me, always taking as much time as I needed to talk to me and give me options. Every time I visited the clinic, they called the next day (or two days later) to follow-up on my pet's condition. They are also open later than any other Vet clinic in the area, which makes them the most convenient vet clinic, especially for those who have regularly scheduled jobs. And a quick response to Gillian Wilkins very negative review. I don't want to doubt your experience, however, my experience was completely the opposite. Once I did the first round of vaccinations for my new kitten, I received a postcard in the mail reminding me to bring the kitten back for the second shot.

St. Mark's Veterinary Hospital is not to be trusted! If you want top quality care then look elsewhere. This practice lacks authentic compassion, the competence and skill expected of their professionalism and the complete quality of integrity. Rather than look at the problem directly the vets here sell you unnecessary services scaring you into thinking something more is wrong with your pet than what is. That was my first round of experiences with this practice. Secondly, the majority of my visits to St. Marks Vet have purely been to obtain necessary requirements and paperwork for my pet to travel abroad. On a few occasions before a trip, mistakes were spotted in paperwork which meant I had to go to and from the clinic before paperwork was deemed fit to be authenticated. To make matters worse, it was only on my last trip and when I arrived in the UK that we were told that the rabies shot administered was invalid as the vet did not administer the follow up booster which is actually what makes the rabies vaccine valid and recognised. Due to the negligence of this practice, our beloved dog now sits in quarantine for 21 days despite additional tests and paperwork that prove him to be rabies free. Yes, I should have gone to a different vet when the signs were showing. But I didn't. These errors should not have been overlooked by the vet especially when they have been called on to issue several health certificates to travel yet they failed to spot their own mistake each and every time. And that counts three different vets who have been called upon to make sure my pet's travel and health requirements are met accordingly. Having trusted the vet in this knowledge and service, we feel completely let down. To make matter's worse, Dr Haddock "accepts no responsibility". SHAME ON THIS PRACTICE AND THEIR VETS.

I take my turtles here because there is a lack of exotics vets in the city. Its pretty good and standard. One time I had to bring my dog and two turtles to an appointment and they were pretty flexible which I appreciated. Thanks guys!
