Price is right and I use them as the money raised goes to a great cause. My only issue is I prefer a liquid wax and I called to inquire if I could bring my own wax but no one has called me back. Otherwise it's a great place to get a hand wash. No buffers for wax or acid used on paint.

Today we experienced our first car wash at St. Matthew's House Car Wash and Detail Center. We chose their most full service package -- the "Bumper to Bumper" and are extremely happy with the results! First, it was easy to get an appointment, next drop-off was quick and efficient, and then when we picked it up, everything was detailed perfectly! They did a really meticulous job. Since it was raining when we picked it up, Richard gave us a coupon for a free full service wash. How nice and generous is that?! We really think they have great know-how, tools, and are up on the latest technology to make an auto sparkle. People, this is a really great business. It's really professional and done with great care and expertise. We plan to go back every other week for the Full Service Wash, every other month for The Works, and every 15 months for the Bumper to Bumper service. St. Matthew's house is our favorite charity to support and getting our vehicles washed there makes great sense because of that, but also because they do the best job in town. Did you know they also do Express Clay Service? Google it! We can't wait to get that done next time. Oh yes, one more thing... Bring some extra cash and visit the thrift store while your car is getting done. Today I did not plan enough time to shop but as I walked through the store to the cashier to pay for the car wash, a sweater caught my eye on the way in. So, on the way out I stopped to take a look. It was a brand new Banana Republic cardigan and it was in perfect, brand new condition. It was priced at a fraction of retail. Everything was so neat and clean in the thrift store. I'm not putting any thrift stores down, but St. Matthew's does not have that little thrift store smell that's not the best. No smell is what they have, so they are not trying to cover anything up with perfume either. Another plus: friendly people that are very kind work at St. Matthew's House.

Had the bumper-to-bumper full detail done this morning ($199 - comparable to Calypso by Costco but with less of a two week wait for a reservation). It’s inportant to note that this type of full service takes between 3-4 hours with a reservation. We spent time having breakfast in the cafe - the pancakes and sausage w small coffee was just right but a little small for a big man. We shopped and hung out but four hours was a little long. It didn’t take a week or two to get in like some of the Naples, Florida detailers. It just took a few days in the beginning of “season•. They did a STELLAR JOB inside - even got the spill out of the seat warmer switch! It was nice, even though it was 100F outside! Windows were crystal clear. There are. A LOT of windows in my vehicle. Also, afterward, they noticed I saw a smudge and asked if they could wipe it off for me to make sure I was satisfied. They asked me to inspect the rest so they could make sure I was pleased. The clay minimized a few scratches I had on my red car! And it supports people in our community! See for yourself!

You won't get a better car washing!!! Our car is now cleaner than when we first picked it up from the dealership!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful... You can't go wrong with St. Matthews House Car wash and detail center, not only do they do a fabulous job, you are helping out a wonderful program!!
