Tldr; decent price and convenient location, but food is mid and service is even more mid. - no instructions for where to order. It was empty and we asked and they didn't answer us, but instead shooed us over to other workers who didn't speak English? - eventually someone helped us, spoke English and took our order and payment - the menu is chaotic, the colours and pictures make it hard to read - only one pickle : - got the pastrami sandwich, their mustard was very sweet and didn't taste good. The sandwich was warm and soft. The pastrami tender but just okay - the atmosphere is very sterile and kinda sucks, there was no one there and everything kinda hurt to look at - probably won't ever go back nor would I recommend it unless you're starving and around
Had a roll with scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese - didn't care for the sausage they used, but the sandwich was good. Service was really good. Was a bit worried because everyone says that you need to know what you want because they'll yell at you. We found the staff very friendly and helpful in explaining what the process it. Highly recommend, great stop before you head to one world trade or 9/11 memorial.
This place has been here for a very long time. The food is consistently delicious! For the area the prices really aren't bad at all. I have eaten here a bunch of times over the last decade and the sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and respectful. The coffee is pretty good too, I find it much better than some of the small coffee spots in the area. Wanted to give a small update. Tried the pancakes today and easily one of the best I have ever had! The consistency and quality of this place is so good!
Really nice staff. Good variety of options. I got Pancakes with Nutella and strawberries which came to £13.09 which would be a similar price to uk for a more expensive breakfast. It did taste good and it was a fairly big portion. The apple juice was also nice and cold. You could have French toast instead of pancakes if you wanted to.
Went in at 4 pm for a bagel with egg and cream cheese. Probably was not fresh due to the time of the day. The bagel was okay. It is a spacious place with seating and a good restroom with a variety of food options.
Very nice service and the food was delicious! I was told I had to get a bagel while in New York, and they weren't kidding. The bagel and lox was amazing!
Excellent deli near the World Trade Centre, very friendly and efficient staff and the food tastes great! I love their bagels!!
Wife said her eggplant panini was heaven. Son loved his Mexican #9. My Turkey-Brie sub was good; would’ve been better warmed. Portions were generous. All food excellent.
When traveling I usually rely on reviews like here on Google to help me pick where to eat. I found this little gem in New York while visiting the World Trade Center memorial. The reviews were good so we had to try it out for ourselves. The pizzeria is at the top of the building so be ready to climbs some stairs, no elevator sorry. We decided to try some New York pizza. I would have to say this is one of the best pizzas I've had in New York by far. There are lots to choose from it was hard for us to decide. Since my wife and I could not decide on one they allowed us to do a half-and-half option. My wife wanted the Hawaiian pizza which came with thick pieces of ham and lots of pineapple it was so good. My pizza came with lots of veggies and it was outstanding. One more thing I had to try was the New York cheesecake. You definitely cannot leave without trying a piece of one of their freshly baked pastries. Everything looks so good and fresh I didn't know what to get. We sat down to eat but if you're on the go they do have fresh pizzas hot and ready for you to grab a slice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and accommodating. I like the fact that they have big windows so you can see the view. I enjoyed it so much I had to introduce myself to the owner owner and tell him he was going to receive a 5 star rating from me. Make plans if you are in the area, you can't miss out on this place. Also the name says deli and on the bottom of the building is a fine deli which we did not get to try out but I hear is also very good. I guess we will have to leave that 1 for the next visit.
We loved this place. The food was great and the atmosphere was superb. My kids and me loved watching the guys throw the bagels once made down to servers counter. The staff were excellent and if you want the feel of authentic New York, this is definitely the place to go.
