We'll certainly be back! Just a quick trip from the Bronx on the ACBD and well worth it. From the inviting and social nature of Marilyn and Addie to the great HH prices and the delicious food. The menu isn't extreme and it's clear the kitchen is on top of what is offered! Tasty, solid portions, sane prices.
They post on Eventbrite but when you reserve on Eventbrite they don't reserve tables. When you try to contact the person in charge of table reservations his phone rings out and his voicemail is not set up. It takes forever to get service. The food is on point but the place needs to be run better. Right now they are not ready for prime time.
Arguably the worst bar I’ve ever been to. On Super Bowl Sunday there were only 5 people in there. i had a reservation and stood at the front waiting to be seated for 8 mins. A full EIGHT minutes. The bartender stood behind the bar just staring us me not asking if I had a res or anything. No one helped me at all. Then the bartender muted the game on the tvs and there was no music or anything. Just silence. The vibe was sooooo uncomfortable and creepy. Could not recommend less.
A nice place to be after a long rainy walk. Yeah bars during the week seems are closed. This one was thankfully open! And happy hour made it even better Thanks I'll try the Dusty Rose next time I'm in town.
The space is well decorated, looks inviting and nice but the food was so so. Very greasy and small. Drinks were not robust. They tasted like juice and syrup. Ordered for a party after a film shoot but we came early. I had placed my order before in person and called to let them know we had wrapped up early and were coming earlier. They left off items from the order. Then the server showed me a receipt that was incorrect and didn’t reflect the receipt that I had sent to my email. At first she didn’t want to honor my order and argued with me. The server took extra glasses away after I asked for water.The slider platter was not worth the money. The actual burger was not much bigger than a slider. It’s one of those places where everything looks nice and there are pretty people working but that’s all there is, superficiality. It sucks that such mediocre people are allowed to occupy spaces and operate businesses. The atmosphere was not welcoming. It’s like they wanted us to leave.
Difficult to rate food, service, or atmosphere when TWO TIMES now, I’ve made a reservation for a Saturday, trekked into the city from Brooklyn, then arrived to find the establishment closed. Watched another group do the same thing.
Great new spot in Tribeca. Had a great time here. Good atmosphere and service. The food was amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Love this new spot! Came in for a drink and tried the wings and truffle fries- so good! This chef has completely elevated the bar food scene in NYC and we will definitely be back.
We came for the New Years Eve Party and had a blast! Open bar, ball drop viewing, college football championship game on and it felt private, upscale bar even though it ended up getting packed out. I’m not sure if she was a manager or a hostess but the blonde wish I could remember her name did a phenomenal job working multiple positions: Door, coat check, behind the bar, etc. and checking up on the guest! A sweetheart by nature, She got stressed when it got full but I appreciated her work ethic and I would definitely hire her! The only thing that I didn’t care for was the bartenders weren’t on the same page for what was offered at the open bar. The guy would give me anything I want, but one of the girls would say that’s not offered and take it off the shelves. This happened multiple times so I just ended up ordering from the guy when I wanted to try a new scotch. I think the other bartender caught on and I felt like she was avoiding me when I went to her side for a simple mixed drink. She could have just been flustered too… *shrugs*.
Great atmosphere, great cuisine, greatest Wagyu Sliders, and delicious Herb and Lemon Roasted Sole. The food and service were both outstanding. Excellent work. Thank you very much! This was an OUTSTANDING service. The customer service was out of this world. Our server was spot on with her pleasing service!
