I took my mustang to this shop to have a new motor installed in 2012. Mike & Jennifer were both very friendly, gave us the most reasonable price in the area, and took care of us the way we expected. They also worked out a deal for us where we paid cash and didn't have to pay the credit card transaction fees and got a significant discount.
Unfortunately the job took quite longer than expected, it was supposed to be a week but took a month. 
I was understanding but it was hard to go this long without my car, and we paid in full ahead of time. Anyways, things like that just happen. The work was great and Mike did the first oil change for free after 500 miles. Great overall experience.

I always use them for smog testing for my older cars.  Very professional, start on time, and finish promptly. If there is a problem, they will tell you exactly what it is and add advice on how to fix it. Can not ask for more. It is a friendly family run business, which makes a difference.

A real-life friendly neighborhood auto repair shop. They do great work and I especially appreciate that they always take the time to explain what needs to be done and how much everything will cost. The work is completed when they say it will be completed, which from experience I know isn't always the case with other repair shops in the area. It's never fun to have to get your car fixed, but it's good to know that the folks at Stanford Ave can get the job done right.
