when one's 'need' is not met, likely they were only a collection of wants. in My experience, the best comes to those in need. When one's needs are met we might participate in making them a benefit to others in need. Mostly by lowering our demands on allocation of resources a.k.a. wants. b.t.w. sick call in the army is 05:30. if you show up at sick call after deciding to stay in bed all morning, then one is silly to complain, They are too busy to serve me. show up at the ER between 04:00 and 05:00 and there's no wait. early bird gets the worm. take a nap in the afternoon. early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.

I went to stanford expecting the best and received terrible care. Whoever reads this review that works at stanford, you need to make changes. Very unsanitary er. Blood stains on the sheets and walls are dirty. I have lupus, RA and hashimotos. I went in because im having severe pain in my stomach. They did a blood test and told me if i wasnt vomiting blood and had blood in my feces then its not an emergency. No ultrasound, just some mylanta. The dr made up answers to my questions and looked at old records from months ago and said i was fine. 4500.00 and no help. No nothing. Im still in so much pain that im afraid to go to sleep. Also, if you ask to see a real dr and not a student you get attitude from the dr and treated poorly.

Never go to this hospital in a serious emergency, you will be neglected. My girlfriend had a seizure while we were visiting California (from wisconsin) and neither of us have ever had such a bad ER visit. First off, we were put in the children's area HALLWAY to have her vitals taken and ask us some questions... I assumed we would then be put in a room... nope... they tell her to gown up and we end up sitting in this hallway with commotion everywhere... if you know ANYTHING ABOUT seizures then you know that this is the dumbest thing they could have done... after waiting for two and a half hours a "doctor" comes out and asks her a few questions about what she think could have caused it and and if we smoke marijuana... as soon as we respond yes it turns to pointing fingers at the weed and then we were neglected for another good 45+ minutes. At last, a new "doctor" comes out and tells us basically we can go home... I've never felt more robbed. Not only of money but of time that was so crucial in the moment where I had really only been looking for some answers and genuine care.. I cannot believe how poorly we were treated at this hospital or that this establishment is still up and running.

Went in emergency room at standford. Patient started feeling more sick after 4 hour of waiting to get checked by doctor. Urgent care was better then STANFORD ER. HATE TO SAY BUT IT DOES NOT FEEL THEY CARE ABOUT IT. Worst is as i am writing this review it is 5th hour and still waiting to see doctor. This is worst then ever
