The senorita bread came fresh out the oven and was on point. I also ordered some other pastries which I wish I had passed on. Specifically I ordered the Apple muffin which was hard and dry. Had to heat that thing up in the microwave And that helped a lot. The staff was very friendly. They other pastries looked really good and might be much better when they're a little fresher.
A quick, cheap, no-frills bakery that is part of a chain within California. This is the first Starbread location my husband and I have been to in some years basically since the pandemic started. We were returning to SF after being out-of-town for a couple of days and we were excited to see this one located on the way, a short detour from the highway and with plenty of parking in the plaza. Their most popular and delicious! offering is the Señorita bread, bread rolls about the length of your hand with melted butter, sugar, and breadcrumbs, similar to many filipino baking recipes; although they do have other baked and wrapped goods as well. An easy visit in-and-out I knew exactly what I wanted to get though - the only challenge is figuring out how many to get lol, since they store well in a sealed container after the day of purchase.
It should be illegal for Señorita Bread to be this addicting! It’s the perfect amount of sweetness to eat 5 in a row nonstop. The Ube donut was good too. My husband says it tastes just like the ones in the Philippines.
Good señorita bread ! It’s always warm and toasty I love this place highly recommended everything is delicious but definitely the señorita bread is phenomenal
Best bakery in town for everything besides doughnuts Royal Jelly Doughnuts in Vallejo is best doughnuts & doughnut shop in Vallejo like their famous & amazing Senorita Bread, they're amazing and a must try, worth goin for Senorita Bread alone.
It is easy to miss this locale as it is tucked away near an unassuming corner of the strip mall. Once inside, the shop is clean, uses the space well, and is easy to follow. They have well lit display cases that they must fill fresh every day. There flagship baked good however, is not on displaythere are photographs on the walls. After my first bite of the señorita bread, It made sense why they do not actively showcase the star of their ensemble. The señorita bread must undergo an accouchement that only an elite pâtissier is capable of. It arrives on the counter at baking temperature, well packaged, and breathing a bakeries aroma. The moment it touches your finger tips, the supple but fluffy composition jump starts your salivary glands. Its sweet buttery belly introduces you to a billowy body of what the best tasting bread should taste like. Don't be fooled a package of 10 for $4.00 will vanish into thin air, even if it is just a solo affair. If you have been blessed with the opportunity to make it out to Honolulu, Hawaii... the Liliha Bakery Diner offers a butter roll with their entrées that tastes like a carbon copy of the Señorita Bread! Peace, and good eats!
Senorita bread is one of my guilty pleasures. I have a few & I'll be good for a couple weeks at most. The prices are very decent for a great snack. The only thing is, I fear the bread isn't as sweet as it used to be which is a bummer but hey, saves you from diabetes. But really, bring back the sweetness. Anyways, the cashier is always nice. & welcoming.
This bakery has the best sweet bread you will ever try in your life. This is quite a big deal affirmative. Everyone I know that tries the senhorita breads from this place, goes crazy about it and always ask me to get some more. The bread melts in your mouth and it feels incredibly amazing specially if it is fresh and warm. Believe me, this is a game changer in your life. If you have never tried, do not do it. You will be hooked for life and get 50 pounds on it. Haha
So yummy! Highly recommend! Made fresh daily and very affordable.
Still same taste but it getting smaller all breads.
