Coffee tasted good, but other aspects of visit were not good. Queue runs along baked goods stock see pics. Greeted at counter with nothing more than a state. Display case disheveled at best. Located in Albertsons Supermarket.
It's starbucks. Either you like it or you don't. There ain't no difference just got to learn the language is all other than that like I said it is what it is. Enjoy your coffee.
I would leave zero stars if I could. I went into order coffee. And as I’m placing my order with my mask over my face, the barista taking orders refuse to take my order until I pulled my mouth all the way up to the bridge of my nose right underneath my eyes because it has to completely cover my faith. I asked her if she would like me to cover my entire head. She stated that I could be refuse service and they can refuse service to me if I refuse to wear my mask correctly. The mask is ineffective anyway, and I’m not actually required to wear it under the ADA, however I wore it there because there were so many people standing next to the counter and I didn’t want to cause an issue. She stated that they could refuse service even if you had a disability or they would ask somebody to order for you. I am alone who am I supposed to ask to order for me? She eventually takes my order, and as I’m waiting for my coffee I noticed the next person in line is wearing their mask completely down to the tip of their nose I can see his nostrils from the side. What does Marissa do? Nothing she says nothing to him and take his order without an issue. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m Hispanic and there aren’t a ton of Hispanics living in Morro Bay, and maybe it’s because that man was white and a white older. I’m not sure what the issue was, but I am extremely upset that I have that type of exchange. She said I would have the same experience no matter what store I went to in SLO County. This is Incorrect information. I’ve gone into several stores wearing my mask the same way or not wearing one at all, and I’ve never been told anything or been treated that way. I did make a complaint to customer service who said they would forward it to the store manager. And I was comped a decent amount to my card but the issue is the way she acted. Not the money. She absolutely has no idea what she’s talking about, stating they couldn’t be fined for refusing service to someone with a disability. People with disabilities are a protected class under the ADA. She definitely needs some type of re-training. Maybe it had something to do with my SLO county sheriffs t-shirt I bought in support of the deputy shot in the face earlier this year while responding to a call.
Today was not as great and experiences yesterday. They didn't actually have any coffee brewed. And the woman took off on break after taking my order without starting any coffee brewing.
A convenient location, nice miscellaneous products available and right next to the magazine rack with books included so you can grab something to enjoy while sipping your Starbucks.

The general manager Gary needs to be fired!! ASAP! there is nothing working in the Starbucks can't get a hot coco can't get a latte NOTHING!! because GARY DECIDED not to fix the machine when they told him OVER AND OVER it was breaking!!! ONLY STARBUCKS IN THIS Town!!! Not only that but there is only ONE PERSON OOONNNEEE every single morning it takes at least 15 min to get a coffee. Again thank you Gary .. your great!
There's always great coffee at Starbucks! I 100% recommend it!
