Highly recommend this. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get a tour by Mr. Irby, a historian that actually marched with MLK. We really enjoyed our time with him.

Went by on a Sunday afternoon did not go inside, but the grounds and the Capitol building are very pretty and well kept

Officer at entrance was welcoming and friendly. Showed us where to go on a floorplan/map. Walked around and old house and Senate rooms are neat, though not much else to see.

A beautiful building with an incredible history. The Governor's office is still here, although the legislature meets at the nearby State House.
