Why would the GA Dept of Revenue move its Augusta office to Evans? Poor Augustans disproportionately have to find alternative ways to handle personal business matters. No where in this county can u walk in and pay your phone bill or your gas bill unless it is thru a third party vendor who charges a fee. These practices pose an unfair burden on the most vulnerable among us. And now you have the state of Georgia dept of revenue and the social security administration adding to their plight. No buses run to these establishments so how on earth do the elderly in the city able to handle such matters with no transportation and no public access available.

I recently sold one of my Mustangs and bought a Lexus. I dropped the insurance on the Mustang and it carried over to the Lexus. Well Progressive quoted me an outrageous price for insurance for the next month, so I dropped them and switched to State Farm all on the same day. So I go to get my registration and they won't do it because it reads that one of policies had been terminated. It showed two policies activated on the same day and one terminated on the same day , which was the Progressive policy , meaning one of the policies was still active. The broad tried to tell me that I didn't have insurance and that I needed to get a binder to prove I had insurance. She wouldn't even talk to my insurance adjuster . These people need to do better.
