I love movies and have watched a couple a month at the State Theatre. It’s been a pleasure every time. I’ve purchased tickets both online and at the theatre and both experience are done easily without fuss. I especially like the ability to choose your seat when purchasing tickets on-line. The theaters have always been clean and tidy. The only area I feel can use improvement is the pace of service at the concession stand. It seems a little unorganized but that will likely improve over time. I LOVE that they serve ice cream! Overall it’s a fun experience and I highly recommend seeing movies here.

My son (39) is in a wheelchair. He and I love going to movies. This theater was very much appreciated. We love the big leather chairs, especially if it reclines. It’s very nice to have a table for drinks and candy to sit so accessible. The sound is amazing and the screens, what better can you get! I have a few complaints. 1st why do the lights stay on during previews? Could they be dimmed? It’s very distracting. 2nd The parking!!!! Especially if you are in a wheelchair. I have been so frustrated driving around the block many times trying to get a safe wheelchair friendly parking place. I find it it hard to believe that no one thought of this when planning this theater. I give thumbs down for this. 3rd I spent $32.00 on food and snacks at the theater a couple of weeks ago. My son and I went to different movies, and while he was waiting for me to come out of my movie one of the workers told him that outside drinks aren’t allowed. I know this is true, but he likes Mt. Dew and he brings it with him. I always buy a large popcorn and medium drink. This particular night we ate dinner there also, and spent $32.00 even with bringing our own drink. I wish he had said that to her. With all of that said, we will continue to go to The State Theater. Thank you

Nice theater! Comfortable seats and the individual trays per seat are excellent! Sound was slightly to loud for the environment (screen 8) which I think caused one of the subs to blow (would flutter when deep sounds hit)... Not super distracting but it did take a little bit away from the experience

Love the electrically reclining and roomy seating! Also, that you can reserve your seating - no more standing in a theater line for an hour and ending up in the first row! Great selection of the current, popular movies. Good cafe, too. They need to take over the neighboring car dealer to create a parking garage, though.

First time visit with the boys too see Jumanji. Was impressed with the snack bar and cafe when first entering the building. The theatre was nice looking, clean and comfortable. We had a bite to eat after the movie in the cafe and the food was good. I will definitely bring my family here again.
