Very nice Art Gallery. First time in. Wonderful art work. Destination place to go to see wonderful artwork.

Since 1990 Station Gallery has framed several dozen of my prints, photographs, and posters.  I've also bought pottery there.  Nancy and her staff are wonderful--warm, knowledgeable, dependable.  They offer great advice on mats and frames.  Highly recommend!

Station Gallery recognized 40 years of showing Mitch Lyons' work by offering a choice assortment of original Clay Monoprints and Ceramics. A vivid palette and unique abstract vocabulary remind that Lyons oeuvre will stand out for a long time among interpreters and admirers of Contemporary Art. Here are monoprints in a seamless crescendo of color and sometimes inconclusive pattern, bicolor backgrounds emboldening a simple object, and docile landscapes belying genius. Ceramics appear elementary in construct but stride out with insignia, earthly color, and sublime inflection. Lyons left a trove of work not seen by even the most thorough curators. This show is both the tip and footer of an unmeltable iceberg. In these times celebrate that permanence. Long may Station Gallery continue to reveal the constant art of Mitch Lyons.
