Been with agency for close to 10 yrs. after being treated like garbage by EMC over a payment glitch. I decided to move to USAA for my auto which saved me roughly $60 a month for 2 vehicles. Now let's fast forward a month. I received another bill from EMC so I called Stein and asked them why am I getting this bill. They told me that everything looks good on my end they will check with EMC on this. I never received a call back. Now I have received another bill from EMC so again called Stein and talked with Christy. She mentioned that my auto policy was up in April and that is why there is a balance on my bill along with my auto being moved it busted up bundle discount. I mentioned "that was funny because I never received a bill for May only at the beginning of June I received a bill. I see what EMC did they didn't send out a bill late for the Auto". I did asked what happened to the quote for the homeowner ins that I requested. Christy remarked something rude. I mentioned "well maybe I should take my business somewhere else". Christy then replied "I think you should after interrupting me again". Hung up the phone on me. Their service used to be really good. If I had a problem with anything or add a vehicle they were very courteous. Lately they have been very rude. Even when your trying to give them more business.

This company does not even deserve a one star review, I wish I could give them zero. We made the choice to go with this company because their rates were a tad lower than the next guys. Big mistake! When we added on a vehicle our agent, Jason Mork, forgot to send us our temporary insurance card. Then when we called to remind him, he said he would sent it to us. Did he? Nope, he went on a two week vacation, and I had to hunt someone else down for our card. That was just one of the issues. Then, we sold our home and purchased a new home. We basically had to beg him to send over the paperwork to our loan agent for our new home. He wouldn't or even after multiple communicates between the two, he would send it to the wrong email address. This happened multiple times. After that, when getting business insurance, Jason would tell us that he would be getting back to us later that day or the following day. Would never actually call back. Before we asked for this policy, we really questioned if we should stick with Stein Agency, but we did. I ended up working with their head of the Office, Susan, because Jason would never call back or he was always out of the office. My finally straw is what happened this last week. We received an email stating that our insurance company was trying to change the amount of coverage on our dwelling for more from Danielle. She said it was increasing our policy and unnecessary. We then called her asking why this premium is for twice as much as what we paid for our home. She informed us that our policy was written up wrong and should be $40,000 less of a premium. This made us upset, as we paid at least a year for too much coverage. We were apologized to from Susan which was great, but that only goes so far when someone is over charging you, let alone been a horrible agent for the last two and a half years. We then receive an email from Danielle on Friday asking about certain things on our home. We made the choice to call back, as we were out of town. When the receptionist answered, she said that Danielle was out, and we replied that she just sent us an email. She said she could check to see if Danielle had came in. Then we were put on hold. When someone answered, it was Jason Mork. He stated that Danielle was in the room with him. Jason, the person who has messed up so many times on our accounts. He was aggressive, rude, gruff, and frankly completely out of line the way he spoke to my wife on the phone. He made a mistake. A mistake that he co-worker told us about. We did not find this on our own. And to hear him belittle, get angry with, and just treat my wife like garbage, we will never ever support this company. My wife left a message to speak to Susan on Friday, she never called back. When my wife called today (Monday), Susan replied that she had no idea this happened on Friday. After the conversation continued, she defended Jason Mork with the statement of we have a situation of he said, she said. When did Susan have a chance to ask Jason or Danielle about the conversation that happened on Friday? Good thing Danielle sent an email apologizing for the way that conversation went. Be careful if you choose to work with Jason, Susan or Danielle at Stein Agency.
