Story

Steuben’s resides in the former Gunther Toody’s space at 7355 Ralston Road, just steps away from historic Olde Town Arvada. The building presents familiar design elements to speak to fans of the original Steuben’s while still incorporating contemporary restaurant design to satisfy all five senses. Similarly, the Regional American cuisine of the original Steuben’s menu shapes the Arvada location’s menu while leaving room for creative and exciting new dishes. The award-winning classic cocktail program and ultra-convenient takeout counter from the Uptown location remains part of the second Steuben’s identity, offering Arvada residents more options to what is already a growing and respected restaurant and bar scene.

I was introduced to Steuben’s fare through their food truck, when I was working at another truck getting a Steuben’s burger through trade. After sitting in the warm oven, their burger was still pretty tasty. Today’s order was no different; I ordered a burger with the usual(burger patty, cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato & mayo), along with fries. Everything was as you’d hope a burger would be, and even better since I got to enjoy it fresh. Bun was toasty and soft, patty cooked perfectly, and the vegetables inside were fresh. Fries were good, crispy and salted just enough. However, for $3, I would have liked a fancy sauce of some sort to make it worth the impulse buy. Service was great! Hostess was quick to greet and seat me (party of one), and the server —Alexis, was prompt and cheerful. Food came out within 15 minutes, and I had just enough time to eat. Overall a good experience, and close enough to the auto shop where I was headed after my meal.

The food is great... The community support is out of this world. Sure the chicken and waffles will but you into comfort food coma that is nearly impossible to match. The pastries, cupcakes, and never ending new takes on rice crispy treats are unique and sinfully good. The staff is friendly and prompt. All of this and Steuben's takes it a step further and digs deep to support the local community. Learn a lesson big business, these guys have nailed it.

I love Steuben's. They have great food & when I had an issue with something a server said regarding what comes with the meal, the manager took care of me (deducted part of cost) and said he would teach the server not to mislead the customers any more. I was very happy with the outcome and have been back a few more times. My only complaint is that the noise level is HORRIBLE! And, frankly, that's putting it lightly! I recommend asking them to seat you over in bar area against South wall, otherwise you can't even hear the person across the table you are sitting with. If they didn't have the semi-quieter south wall in the bar area, I would not visit this restaurant.

There is a reason Steuben's is legendary in Denver (and Arvada). The food is amazing. It's well-prepared and portions are HUGE. The menu has lots of "comfort foods" and more than a few things that go beyond. In other words, something for everybody. The best part is the service, though. It's clear that everyone on staff is trained in how to greet guests and keep them happy. Combined with the food and this is a must-experience place. There is one downside to this location and it's super minor: most of the seating is booths and I really hate booths. Not worth dinging a star, but worth noting. Otherwise it really was near perfection.

I meant to write the review right after it happened, last Thursday 10/19 My boyfriend was arriving back into town and he promised me dinner so I asked for stuebens. He ordered me a to go meal, he showed up around 940pm to pick up my Nashville Fried Chicken dinner. The menu says you get chicken, Texas toast, mashed potatoes and dill pickles. Well he arrived home and my meal was missing two of the sides. The mashed potatoes and dill pickles and I normally love this place but I'm making a statement because we paid 17 dollars for a couple pieces of fried chicken and toast. The store was closed by the time he arrived home, so there was no way for us to get the rest of our meal
