If Steve Nash is still improperly charging you: request a stop payment through your bank for automatic charges and it will stop! Sign up to an independent gym and avoid the Steve Nash entity. I've been going to Steve Nash for almost three years and today was the day I finally canceled my membership. When I originally signed up, I felt I was paying a fair price for a pretty great facility, only to find out that a friend of mine who signed up after was paying 10$ less than me per month for the same membership at the same facility. I wasn't terribly happy about that, but in the grand scheme of things I really enjoyed going to the gym, so I never mentioned it. Soon after, their machines started to break down by the dozens. They would sit, unfixed by maintenance staff for weeks at a time. It began to be a joke amongst the patrons of the gym as to which machines decide to function. Soon after, it became frustrating, because during peak times there wouldn't be any working machinery available to use. Then, they implemented an 'enhancement' fee that was to be paid on top of your membership every December. Members did not have an option, nor was it something that was outlined in the initial membership agreement that was signed. It was a question of where these 'enhancement' fees where being allocated, because many of the machines were still broken, or in the process of being repaired. Months after this, I suffered a serious injury that resulted in me having to get taken out by ambulance and going to the hospital. I will say that two managers acted very quickly to ensure I was safe. Days later, I contacted them to inform them that my recovery time would be months long, as at the time I could not walk without assistance. The first person that I spoke with was incredulous and told me that it would be very difficult to freeze my account and that I would need to provide a doctor's note. After much back and forth, there was something who was finally able to freeze my account and let me know to touch base with them later on when I had healed enough to come back to the gym. During this time, they had given out my personal number to a personal trainer (who I had never met) who was texting me that 'I should meet with her to discuss my fitness goals as I haven't been in the gym for a few months'. No one had informed this trainer, nor did she look at my file notes to see that I was severely injured. A month later, they processed a charge through my account without my knowledge. When I contacted them, they informed me that 'it's been about seven months now, and any injuries that I have 'should' be healed'. At this time, they were again wanting to see a doctor's note. They agreed to freeze my account for another couple months and issue a refund for the oversight. It's now been three weeks and they still haven't issued a refund. I chose to cancel, because when my body is ready to return to a gym, I will not be coming back here.

The location is great and the facilities are alright, but their customer service sucks. False advertisement in every deal they offer, and if you manage to get a refund they take 1 month or more to return the money. I deeply regret signing with them. Cheers

Never had a negative experience . Some Staff are friendly and some are not but I'm here to workout. The gym is fine and equipment is a bit old but it's well maintained. I've been coming here consistently 3-4 times a week for 16 years and I like it here. You guys removed the clock over the water fountain between the cardio and weight room. Maybe add another there cause I like to know what time it is without having to walk to the front or back when I working in that area. I've never had any experience of high pressure sales from personal trainers. I've worked with them and listen to their sales pitch but that's their job. Cancellation process isn't the nightmare that everyone talks about in this review. My wife signed up and twice and cancelled both times and they tried to keep her as a customer but she was firm and they cancelled without and billing issues.

I have only worked out here a few times over the years. High volume studio with full equipment array, latest tech and good fitness advisors. A great place to meet people, from what I have seen.

Great and friendly staff. Caught them on a good deal time, especially considering the high prices for fitness clubs in the area. Good selection of equipment and plenty of space for everyone. My only constructive comment would be that it is highly presumed that you will sign up for some combination of membership or personal training services when you walk in the door. This is obviously embedded deeply in their sales training and culture. It would be much less off-putting for new customers if their "free trial" wasn't a thinly veiled aggressive sales push (for services they specifically said they didn't want in the first place). New clients, just be mindful of the high-energy sales push (as with all gyms) and you'll be fine.
