I love Lao food. I like the papaya salad here. They used to make it really delicious with the black crab flavor but the last time I came, it doesn't have that flavor anymore. Bummer. I love their chicken noodle soup with coconut milk. That's my favorite cuisine there now. My whole family used to like their chicken wings but the flavor has changed since the last few times we came.
The food here is so good. They have a lot of shareable items. I love the shrimp chips, crispy rice lettuce wraps, the tapioca dumplings, chicken laab rice bowl, lemongrass beef jerky and the coconut sticky rice with mango for dessert. Honestly, it’s delicious. The food is full of flavor and spice. If you are looking to try something new, this would be the place. I craved the coconut sticky rice.
Delicious food and great ambiance. Food was fast, service was great. Prices are also super reasonable. We tried the lemongrass beef jerky which is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. Also tried the garlic wings, pork spring rolls, and curry ribs which were good. The chicken rice bowl was also amazing.
Absolute hidden gem on colonial! Love the lemongrass beef jerky and the curry ribs. I’ve seen many people order the rice and noodle bowls and they smell amazing, but I stick with the multiple small plate options and get either an orange tea or green tea drink. They also serve delirium tremens beer along with southeast Asian beer which I thought was impressive. Staff is extremely friendly and there is parking on the side of the restaurant and more behind the restaurant. The pictures I showed don’t do it justice, the meat on the curry ribs just falls off the bone!
One of the most authentic places in Orlando to visit. Laos influenced and it’s Michelin Bib Gourmand good food that’s affordable. Enjoyable across generations from Toddlers to elders—my whole family enjoyed it. No tip needed, order at register and self serve water. Seating is a bit limited, but wait didn’t seem too bad. Ramen is the way to go.
When the food was brought out the pleasant aroma of each dish started the experience off right. I am left speechless by the exquisite taste of the fall off the bone ribs and the fried garlic dry rub wings which burst with flavor with each bite. The jerky is perfectly crispy without being hard to chew and pairs well with the sticky rice. The sweet purple rice topped with mango is a nice finishing touch to a perfect meal. Service was 5 stars and the highest of compliments to the chef.
Saturday 0700pm Fun little spot, right on 50. Ordered in back and got a seat by the window. Dining area was always quite full, but not crowded yet. Crispy rice lettuce wraps were tasty. Ate it mostly with chopsticks since we ran out of lettuce. Tapioca pork and peanut dumplings were tasty af. Might be better with some sauce, but I'm not complaining. Pork curry ribs were my favorite. Chopstick tender, and a generous portion. Lastly, papaya salad. Tasted fresh, but it's just not my thing. Probably should have gone with a higher spice level mild. Inviting atmosphere sit where you fit. Nice location parking in back. Small plates are actually quite large. Fun and fair priced. My only dig, would be the sticky table tops. But who honestly cares?
We visited this place during our trip to Disney. The food here is authentic and extremely tasty. Recommend the noodle soups, sausage lettuce wraps and the pandas waffle. We had a $1k dinner the night before near the convention centerOceanaire and my crew said this was the best dinner of the trip.
Stopped in for lunch, there are several good spots along this part of 50 but I wanted something new. Small restaurant but they have a lot of seating available at their large family style tables. I had wanted to get the pork-belly but they informed me they had sold out fl the night before and it wasn’t quite ready yet and suggest the chicken. I had a chicken rice bowl and 2 of the spicy chicken bao. Both were very good, the veggies were cool and crisp with the chicken hot and fresh.
First time visiting a few days ago and to my surprise I loved it all. From the Belgium Beer with an elephant to the rice bowl with steak and rolls, I loved it. The lady at the register was very helpful, kind, and playful as I asked every question I thought of about the dishes. I'll be backFood: 5/5
