I had the best experience at Stiehl Dental. The entire staff were some of the friendliest people you could meet and the dentists were skilled and compassionate. Especially Dr. Belyeu who is a master of his craft. I highly recommend Stiehl Dental to anyone looking for top quality dental services.

Would not recommend this office to anyone. I was completely dismissed and referred to another dentist . All for having sensitive teeth!! He did not go through the treatment options that we discussed. He put a fluoride treatment on my teeth that I knew was a waste of time and money. I called the next day to let him know the fluoride didn't work and we can move on to the next treatment which was putting sealants on, which I felt would habe been great, but somewhere/somehow the receptionist relayed the message to him and his response was to just go to another dentist. He 100% dismissed me! Even if I were to see a specialist, what about in the meantime? What was I supposed to do while waiting on another appointment. My teeth were extremely sensitive because I was clenching at night. It's fine to refer patients to another dentist but he just disregarded me in the meantime. Sealants are a very easy, fast treatment option that we discussed but after I called the net day the communication was odd! I think the communication between the receptionist/me/Dr stiehl was incorrect in some way. Even more reason to pick up the phone and call your patient and see for yourself what was going on. I had seen him less than 24hrs before this. Either way, he treated me in a very dismissive way. Since this has happened I have heard of similar situations with this office. Not to mention I had a $40 credit on my account that they never notified me of. Just pick another dentist, save yourself the time and aggravation!

Absolutely horrible customer service - suggest finding someone else. Had a new patient appointment which had been booked for months and due to not being able to answer the phone when called the morning of due to a meeting "their policy is to remove your appointment". WHAT!!? If you have a confirmed appointment, and make your appointment to find out that they removed it because you were unable to answer a phone earlier in the day..... Pathetic and obviously more focused on booking another appointment for more $ than keeping their commitment and obligation due to "their policy".

I'll be honest, I've never written a bad review on anyone before, no matter how bad the experience. However, for this I feel people need to know. I've even contemplated doing so, but after speaking with multiple people who agree that 'this is a must' I feel compelled to do so. A little over a month ago I was in severe pain with a toothe ache, after a day of no relief I decided it was time to find a good, professional dentist who could truly help. I found Stiehl Dental and was in awe at all of the endless wonderful recommendations. Being deathly afraid of the dentist as I am, this put me at a form of ease. Everyone spoke of how awesome and friendly the staff was, and I thought "I've found the perfect dentist!" Boy was I wrong. (To be fair, the staff did live up to the reviews expectations. They were kind, caring, and very friendly) But the most important part was far from that, the dentist. After waiting I was called back, the hygentist did x-rays and saw that I had an abscessed tooth, and other issues that needed to be handled. The dentist came in finally, I informed him of other medications I was on, and we probably spoke about 30 words max between the two of us because he was THAT ready to get me out of his chair and he himself, was ready to leave. At least that's how it seemed. The majority of the other hygentist were gone, and he was NOT willing to truly help, or answer any questions, all I got to tell him was that I am very afraid of the dentist office, and at that point he walked out of the room, came back and he just told me I had an abscessed tooth, (which the hygentist had already told me) wrote me an antibiotic, referred me to an oral surgeon who could remove my tooth, and sent me on my way. I spent more time in the waiting room than I did with the dentist. I felt upset with his behavior and the lack of care I got from him alone, but I shrugged it off as "it must've just been a busy day for him" and went home still with no answers or help, and still in extreme pain. But still not as mad as what was to come. I immediately started the antibiotic and it was the first time ever taking that specific kind, and it made me so sick. I dealt with it for about three days and finally broke down to call him and ask what should I do? Expecting him, like anyone would as their new or long term dentist and considering the situation, to tell me to stop taking that specific antibiotic and call me in something else that wouldn't have such nauseating side affects. Oh no, he told me to stop everything, didn't offer another antibiotic, nothing. Didn't even want to see me again and hung up the phone. I couldn't believe it, it truly hurt my feelings. What was his reasoning? I have good dental insurance, I was very polite while speaking to him and while in his office. You don't have to be a doctor to know that you shouldn't just stop your antibiotics when you have any form of infection. Thankfully that day I was able to get in with another doctor who himself couldn't believe what had occurred and was upset that this could possibly be happening to other potential new patients of his. So the new doctor wrote me a different presciption of an antibiotic and had to do what Steihl dental would not. Let this be a warning to anyone who goes to this dental office, if you have special needs or requirements, if it's not just an easy cleaning, and if you want more than a nice receptionist, do NOT go here. He's not a doctor I would say from experience is informed or willing to care for patients with underlying medical issues that essentially have nothing to do with dental care. His lack of knowledge made him uncomfortable and ultimately he shunned me and denied me proper care.
