Story

Stokosa Clinic is home to two prosthetists:
- Jan Stokosa, CP, FAAOP
- Fran Starzec, CP

In the words of Jan Stokosa,"Many amputees suffer pain and skin breakdown (some for many years) and they are often told “this is part of being an amputee.” I DON’T AGREE! I am aware of unique conditions and situations that can be very complex, and have been successful in significantly reducing or eliminating the source of pain. Quite often the amputation is not the only possible source of pain. This must be understood and evaluated to determine what can be done to correct the problem."

Stokosa Clinic has patients from all over the country and has fit many athletes, including marathon runners and swimmers.
