Prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly. Some people complain about the owner but he just doesn't want anyone hurt. Many fun routes with a large range of difficulty. The beginner room is nice for small children. large facility. Sometimes crowded but that's only because THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! The only negative about Stone Age is that kids run under climbers and I have nearly crushed a few 5-7 year olds, although I'm not sure there's anything Stone age can do to fix that problem.

Great place to climb and train. Glad ABQ has such a good gym. The staff is super nice and the routes are fun.

Awesome place to rock climb without having to drive far to remote locations. It's well taken care and they change it up pretty regularly too. The only reason I don't give Stone Age 5 stars is because it gets packed almost everyday. It can be tough to climb because of there can be so many people. Other than that, it's the best place to climb in Albuquerque.

Huge facility, great variety of bouldering, toprope, and sport climbing routes. I took my mom here for her first time climbing and she absolutely loved it though she started out scared to death. The employees were incredibly reassuring and very patient, addressing all her questions about safety and the basics. Only complaint is that the walls themselves have a rough, sandpaper-like texture (which admittedly makes smearing a bit easier), but can scrape you up a bit.

I had never climbed like this before other then places and in ways that may have had my mother biting her lip. But came here and used an auto belay because I'm to cheap to take courses on other forms of belaying. Had a blast came back and did some more! Would like to go once a week but haven't been there in 2 years!!... 😕
