Stop Button Bar is the place to go for some original family fun. We have arcade cabinets, console titles, and game-themed drinks for you to enjoy.

Story

At Stop Button Bar, we’ve been fortunate enough to combine our passion with our profession to create a bar unlike any other in the Hope Mills area. We have games of all kinds for you to enjoy, including classic arcade cabinets and competitive console titles. Even though we do serve an assortment of tasty, game-themed drinks, our arcade serves people of all ages with time set aside on the weekend for adults only. Being in a military area, we know how important it is to have a place to unwind, and what better way than with a fresh drink and some good games? Whether you want to come in for a drink after work, bring the family in for some gaming fun, or even participate in one of our weekly tournaments, this is the place to get your game on.

Mission

Stop_Button's mission is to create central North Carolina's newest pre-qualification site to enter into the major league of gaming, while also providing a location for daily entertainment.

A great spot for a bit of fun! One cover charge at the door gives you free play on the huge selection of classic and modern arcade games, including driving games, shooting games, pinball, and more!

Two bars offer a full selection of beers and mixed drinks for those who enjoy a beverage with their gaming. Cup holders adorn most of the games in the establishment, ensuring maximum gaming/drinking synergy.

Karaoke on Thursdays, and no kids after 9PM every night!

Super fun and friendly atmosphere, extremely nice staff, and probably the biggest arcade/classic/modern game system selection I've ever seen in a bar format. They also have pool tables!! I highly recommend visiting if you're a game enthusiast or if you're just looking for a fun bar with a laid back atmosphere.

This is a barcode, a video game place with a bar. Game consoles are here and lots of vintage stand alone arcade games. The vintage games are cool for a change of pace. The bar sucks. The bartenders cant make consistent drinks, very overpriced tiny little cups. They also have console systems, again bartender gives wrong games, then gave sons ID to someone else! Haven't been since. The employees were an issue to begin with. Need better trained, friendlier interactive employees. Fix machines that are still not working. Most people aren't aware it's even there.

Loved this place! We did a double date there and had a blast! Flat fee for nonstop games. Arcades, pool table, consoles etc. It's also kid friendly until a certain time when it goes adult only. We met the owner and even though it was closing time he kept it open until we were ready to go.

This place is amazing! all from my personal experience...
  Starting with the LOCATION AND VENUE; its in a great safe spot, clean and well maintained, the arcades are very fun and diverse ranging from the good classics to the modern arcades so there is something for everybody. I love the fact not only can you aim for the high score on the arcade machine as well as the high score board they have in the front and back by the bar. The modern consoles are awesome due to them being the latest consoles and the latest games they have to offer and the fact that they host tournaments is a great touch to the gaming community! 
  THE STAFF is friendly, helpful and informative. They will come out and interact with you and next thing you know you are shooting some pool or playing an arcade with one of the owners and exchanging common interests and makes you feel right at home!
  THE CROWD is very diverse which is awesome. Ranging from very active people in the community you might have seen before, business owners, artists, to some of the top gamers in the area and everything in between you will never know who you'll be playing a game of air hockey with or singing along to a  popular song with at the bar. The regulars that come here are very awesome too and love playing games with everybody, Ive came here by myself and met a lot of cool people here through video/arcade games, pool and air hockey, the cool cars that show up and the common interests Stop_button represents itself as.
