The prices at Stop and Shop (with the store card) are generally lower than the other grocery stores in Acton. They have a great produce section and often have ingredients needed for certain ethnic dishes. Their store made guacamole is one of my favorites.

They use technology to speed you on your way. At the deli you can place your order electronically and then stop by to pick it up when you have finished the rest of your shopping. There are also 4 self serve check out stations for small orders. I have never experienced a wait at the self serve.

Many of the employees don't seem to be happy ... not all greet you with a smile and more importantly some work slowly.

Prices are a bit high.but i find myself going to see what is on clearance its always something worth the trip.friendly staff always helpful and good worker to bring in carriages clean lot and store.
