Loved the vibe at this resort. People were fantastic but the lift lines at the gondola are kinda nuts on weekends. Would also suggest the founders lodge - incredibly comfortable and a 10min walk with the skis in the morning to the base.

This place is great! It is right in Stratton resort and it is basically a little town. It is a good place for a walk to calm yourself down and just feel the wind on your face. They have a nice selection of restaurants, coffee shops, and clothing outlets. And if it’s the right time of year it’s great for snow activities.

Bit of a failure compared to other Intrawest resorts. Only ski/sport boutiques for the most part all selling the same thing. Restaurants aren't bad, but not great. 
Not a lot to do, but you can eat and have a beer after a good day of skiing.

So cute. You can get anything you need from the village. Some things are a little pricey but you're at a ski resort so its not a surprise

Friendly staff at Blackbear lodge...got to check in..3nhalf hour early...close to..shops and ski slope shuttle bus...if you dont wanna walk.
