Outpatient physical therapy clinic treating all conditions and specializing in lower extremity injury rehab, long distance running and walking rehab. Nick helped me through 2 very difficult & traumatic surgeries.  Helped me learn my body, relearning how to walk & other basic movements, but also keep my motivation & mood up.  This is the best PT I've ever had. I'm a competitive  strength athlete, to have medical care that could teach me about movement & training was  very impressive.  Nick's knowledge is impressive.  Great staff & facility.  And the dog is super cool.

I went in to the Sellwood Stride Strong Clinic with what had become a chronic pain in my right tibialis tendon which would flare up frequently making walking painful and was really putting a damper on my intramural volleyball play. JP Fairhart helped me clear up an issue that had been building for a year or more in just a few months! He is friendly, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He explained the exercises and the reason behind them in easy to understand terms and is very up-to-date on cutting edge research and techniques. Additionally, the office manager, Kate, was a joy to work with - she helped me coordinate my schedule and went above and beyond to help me find alternative times when the occasional work conflict came up! It's been several months and I'm still feeling good as new!

Let me begin by saying I cannot recommend Nick, my physical therapist, or this business and staff enough. 

I came to Stride Strong after a bad car accident that left me with severe lower back pain that would shoot down my leg and left me unable to lift my right leg higher than my knee. As an athlete and martial artist, this was a huge issue. But since my work with Nick, I am nearly back to my range of motion (better in some ways!) and the pain is minimal and seems to still be receding. 

Nick is an excellent PT and without his help I would not be as mobile or healed as I am today. He really takes the time to understand exactly what your pain is and figure out the best methods of relieving it. Not only that, he is aware of the mental strain an injury can have. I'm a very active person so not being able to exercise was depressing, but Nick was very encouraging and found ways to incorporate exercise in a healing way. I never felt nervous asking him questions. His dog, Chomsky, is also a total sweetheart and makes the environment that much more welcoming.  

I also want to quickly mention Kate, who runs the front desk and is always so positive and helpful when it comes to any paperwork or forms. 

Again I can't thank them or recommend them enough.

After receiving a referral for PT due to severe neck pain, I chose Stride Strong Physical Therapy based on the reviews and I was not disappointed! I had never done PT before so I was nervous, but I was put at ease by my first phone call with Kate, the office manager. She is so helpful and caring, taking the time to give me a follow up call when I asked about insurance coverage. 

My Physical Therapist, Dr. JP Fairhart is WONDERFUL, professional and friendly! He really took the time to listen, answered all of my questions, and showed my how to do home exercises.  He's extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about helping others.

I highly recommend JP and Stride Strong!

I've been going to Stride Strong for almost a year now, and can definitively say that it's helped me immensely. Since starting to see Nick for help with ankle rehab, I've been able to see significant improvements in my mobility, comfort and pain levels. Nick is great to deal with, and I have fun coming into the office to see him, the team, and Chomsky the dog!
