I have nothing but great things to say about Todd Cruz at Therapeutic Associates. My two children have seen Todd with sports injuries and I have seen him concerning pain resulting from an accident many years ago. As an athlete, Todd understands the issues athletes have. Recently I went to see him with my ankle swollen and in pain prior to a hiking vacation. I could barely walk when I went in with just a few weeks to go before we were leaving. After 3 visits, I was able to hike over 5 miles on one day and went for several hikes over the week enjoying my vacation. Todd and his staff has been extremely professional and worked hard to meet my family's needs,. He has spent whatever time necessary to make sure we understand what we need to be doing, and never makes me feel that he is just trying to get you to show up for more visits just to be able to bill you more unlike a previous PT we visited. I would definitely recommend Todd without hesitation.

Wow, I'm shocked to read the prior review. Mine is also completely negative. I was billed for a series of exercises, never given a report of my "condition" or problem, left the office and woke up in complete pain. I contacted the office to communicate this, via email, received an email back from the PT saying she'd get me my report and exercises, and then...nothing. When I got the bill (which my insurance barely covered), despite my opinion, I paid half of it in good faith. For over a year, I've been trying to battle the last half of the bill. $73. The office found a report and sent it to me over a year later. I went to the BBB. I believe this is fraudulent ! Second the idea of Inner Gate.

I went here once, and once was certainly enough. The people there are friendly enough, but their their billing system is totally ridiculous, bordering on fraudulent. When I called before my appointment to ask if they accepted my insurance, they said yes, absolutely. Then, when I showed up for my appointment and brought out my card to pay my copay, they explained that I didn't have to pay a copay, because they aren't a preferred provider on my insurance, so I was just going to be billed 20% of the total!! I feel like they completely misled me - they never mentioned that they were an out-of-network provider. So, standing there at the desk, I asked them how much 20% was going to be, and she said she had no idea, and refused to even give me a ballpark between $15-500. She said it was completely dependent on what the therapist did with me, but at no point during the appointment did he say "now, I would like to do xyz, and that will be extra cost." And of course, at that point I can't walk out and save the money, because they have a cancellation fee. What I got was an evaluation which essentially repeated what my referring physician did a week before, and then three exercises/stretches (a total of five minutes was spent on showing me the stretches). I just got my bill, and they charged me $135 for the evaluation, and $55 seperately for the "exercises." So my portion of the bill was $38. All in all, because of their misleading insurance garbage, I ended up paying almost four times what I would have at a real in-network provider with my $10 copay. Save your money, and go to Inner Gate Acupuncture - they are fantastic!
