What a great investment! I waited to make this review so that I would have time to let it set in and see. The salesman was knowledgeable and took the time to find out what we really wanted. No pushy buy this deal kind of thing but rather made the time to answer the many questions about their products and yes the number one question I had was do you have MADE IN AMERICA! We took the time to ask and then went home with the dimensions and taped it to the floor to ensure there was enough room for the big couch. later my boy discovered an open seam and when I called the store it was no big deal just email pictures and we will get the ball rolling on resolving the problem. Based on our previous experience with the store I believe it will be resolved in a short amount of time. I look forward to shopping here again when I need new furniture for another room. I highly recommend this company that carries quality, yes not as cheap as the chinese made stuff but not as expensive as other stores that have to pay for a huge overhead. It is well worth paying to ensure that the american building these has a paycheck to buy something from me. Sincerely Bobby Balentine

I ordered a Grand Award Gold mattress and a queen size bed in May . It took them over a month to deliver and, when I received my order, the bed was way too wide compare to the mattress, leaving gaps on both sides of the bed. The mattress I ordered was soft so I called the store 2 days after receiving my order to see if I could get a harder mattress instead; they agreed to the exchange contingent to me paying for delivery fees (again), which I did. The mattress I received is 2 grades down (we went from Gold to Bronze) and is more than half price cheaper than the one I initially purchase for $1,399. I didn't get a refund for the differential , no one even mentioned that . Plus the mattress I received that is supposed to be hard does not match the description, the mattress is way too uncomfortable; In less than 3 weeks, I could notice a hole in the middle of the bed formed by my body (Im not heavy, I weight 143 lb ). The mattress is cheaply made. I'm very disappointed. I'm pregnant and have to spend my nights on my sofa until I could afford a better mattress.

I’m not the reviewer type but I’m taking the time because I feel compelled to review this experience. I’m giving this store a 5 Star review for three reasons. First, Quality Standard (This is the best quality furniture I’ve seen for the money), honesty (I truly believe he had my best interest at heart) and price (literally half the price on the exact same high end custom furniture I’d seen at another store). It’s not all roses though. They don’t have everything under the sun and the actual building is less than attractive, in fact I almost didn’t go in but I’m glad I did. The reason I love this operation is because I’ve been on a furniture buying expedition for the past month and the more I learn and research about the furniture, the more if felt misguided when dealing with other furniture stores. I’m older and it wasn’t that long ago that all big name brands were a great (25-year) quality standard, instead of two to five years like today. Not that I want to keep a sofa for 25 years but I at least want to have the freedom of choice. Through my research, I can’t tell you how many stories I’ve read about sofa’s lasting two years, beds falling apart or chairs collapsing. Well, apparently this is the new normal that’s being pushed upon us. What’s worse, these are famous brand names we all know and I’m seeing their poor quality products in every furniture store except this one. Sorry for the rant. Here is what I like about this store. Keep in mind, I felt like I had a wealth of information under my belt walking in to this store and my BS detector is always on high alert. I must say, it was nice not getting pounced on when I went into the store. I was free to roam and take my time without interruption. It’s not that that I wasn’t seen or was being ignored but the staff seemed to have a sense about whether I needed help or not. This was a unique, unexpected and refreshing experience. So here is why I give this store 5 Stars. The education I received from this sales person was significantly eclipsed the knowledge I’d been able to procure over the last month of research and it fully dovetailed with what I’ve learned. I truly believed every word this guy said and I truly believe he had my best interest at heart. Even after all the education and time spend there was absolutely no pressure to purchase whatsoever, no sales tactics, no games, and no hard close. In fact, it was more like a workshop on the pros and cons of each piece I was after. This was bar none the best furniture shopping experience I’ve ever had. I walked out of there feeling 100% confident dealing with these people. Most profound was that the sales person actually cared about me and my furniture usage needs. This was nonexistent in my other furniture store experiences. I really appreciated the fact that the sales person took the time to teach me about the differences between different furniture brands. I already knew about the decline on many of the quality famous brands and how they now fall into the value produced and disposable furniture class but he just reaffirmed and expanded what I had already learned which just made me feel even more confident dealing with this operation. This is the only store where all their primary lines of furniture are American made high level quality customizable furniture brands at prices that are not much more that what I’ve seen the disposable furniture priced. Frankly, why anyone would every by poor quality furniture makes no sense. I ended up buying a top quality leather sofa group. The sofa was just under $1400. I know it was a great deal because I saw the same sofa at another furniture store in Kansas City for just under $2400. What I liked most was the candor. No BS, just straight truthful factual informative talk with my best interest in mind. If not for Google, I don’t think I would have found this store. It’s not in a convenient location but well worth the trip. Hope this review helps.

Went here eight months ago. Got a great deal on an amazing dining set. Also ended up buying two mattresses at a great price, they took the time to educate us on the different mattresses. We just bought a house so we will be going back for new furniture.

Great place, obviously low overheard, Jeff helped us...We had been to crowly furniture and Furnitire DEALS and the feeling of being swindedled was high. Walked into Summit Furnitute and Jeff said hi to us and let walk around. Lots of great stuff, stuff felt better than other stores. Not Cheap prices like DEALS, but prices reflect what you get. Got a nice red couch, that had 2 recliners(automatic) and got delivery less than 24 hours later... Easy and done and now I have couch, to replace the broken couch I got from Nebraska Furniture Mart. I'll be back to Summit Furniture(some day)
