Please read ALL the reviews about the RUDE office staff! They are exactly that! We made reservations 2 months in advance, requesting 2 RV spots next to each other. The confirmation emails confirmed adjacent spots even giving us the specific numbers of 15 and 16. 3 weeks before our trip, we called and verified that all was in order with our reservation, including the neighboring sites. When we arrived at noon on the day of check in, the staff gave us spots 5 and 16 stating that someone in 15 had decided to extend their stay and they had to move one of us. After discussing that this is not what we were expecting, and getting no cooperation in finding 2 sites together, we decided to give it a try anyway. Pulling into the RV area we noticed that there were MANY vacant spots still available. We called the office to see if they would allow us to use spot 4 or 6 next to our friends, we were rudely denied and told they could not give us someones else's reserved spot (even though that is exactly what they had done to us). After several conversations we gave up and set up camp in our given locations. The next morning, we were stopped by someone in the campground and told the office needed to see us right away. Thinking they were going to go ahead and let us move sites to one of the STILL EMPTY spots next to our friends, we headed to the office. Once there, the office staff preceded to tell us that we could not camp in their campground because we have a cab over (Capri) camper and they don't allow those. The "lady" continued to explain that once they had a "400 lb man" show up in a homemade truck camper with only one window and a door that she didn't even know how he could fit through and she had to turn him away because of how it looked. REALLY?!! UNBELIEVABLE! Then she graciously said that we could stay THIS time, and move next to our friends, but would not be able to come back. WOW! You wouldn't be able to pay me enough to return and I'm sorry to say I gave you kind of people any of my money in the first place. Please, please, please find somewhere else to stay! 1 star only because it's required in order to post your review.

We camped at the campground and took our boat to the lake for some water sports. Nice place - although it would have been nice to have a spot with trees. Quiet - enjoyed the bats and the deer. The pool near the RV part with the beaver slide was nasty dirty.....cigarette butts, dead bugs, swimming roaches.....a skimmer was definitely needed. The security guy who kept driving by our site was very friendly. We will go back....maybe the pool will be cleaner.

Stayed at the RV campground Feb and March 2017. Had a great time! Black top roads, gravel trailer pads and good room between units. Every unit had it's own water, electric and sewer. Community bath house was clean and well supplied. Feels like it's out in the wilderness but within a mile from the nearest town. Great place to RV...

We made a reservation , arrived mid week and were given a site way in the back it looked like overflow area. The park was about half full, it had many vacant nice sites with built in fire rings, grills and nice shade trees, yet ours was in full sun with no extras. Both spas were broken, one the thermostat was broken and temperature so high to scald someone. The pool area was in need of repair and dirty. The cafe although the sign stated was open everyday 8-8 no one was there. Not a place we will return.

We stayed in cabin 18, a cozy room with a full bed and twin bunk beds. The cabin was rustic and cute. It was pretty clean (a few cobwebs here and there) and had linens, a kitchenette and everything we needed. The resort had plenty of fun things to do. From 3 pools to mini golf, playgrounds and sports courts. While a little outdated everything was great. The only downside was the hot tub was too dirty for us to feel comfortable getting in. Overall, I look forward to staying there again in the future.
