They require a background check when anyone wants to apply to stay for a month or longer. While this may be an inconvenience to some, we found it to be a great litmus test AND it provided us with a great comfort knowing our children would be safe. The lake is accessible from 3 different locations at the camp and the 2 pools meant our kids could be kids without bothering the older visitors who wanted a bit more quiet with their peaceful swim. All in all we love this park and hope to be back next season.

Had a wonderful time with my partner and son. I would definitely return to Lake shore Front. Positive sides are: *1. Quite *2. BBQ PITS *3. NICE COZY CABINS Negative: *1. Cabin #7sofa sleeper. Not comfortable. *2. Small fridge had frozen Block unable to store anything to freeze. That's it for my review. I would recommend for family and friends to visit for a quick last minute get away to spend actual quality time with your loved ones. Or just to get away from the city. One thing i personally did not enjoy was the warm water. When you reach the line you realize that the line is in a embankment almost like a cul-de-sac of canyon water. You float but really still. The water flows slowly, WONDERFUL place like i mentioned just small minor things that i had to adjust but didnt make me feel like should run the opposite way. Angel, wonderful gentleman was very helpful. If we needed anything at all he made sure we received it to enjoy the time of our stay.

Very nice resort. We didn't stay but visited friends that were. Prices seemed very good. Close to the boat ramp.

Loved the quiet, relaxing nature with deer, the nature trail to the lakefront of the property & both swimming pools. The family pool was huge and the adult pool was quiet, both. clean. All of sites were clean and equipped. The sites with the lakeview were spectacular on the eye, but did not have septic due to the preserve. If you waMt septic hookup, pick a spot further back. More than a campsite!! Very nice. Also close to tubing the Guadalupe River, Canyon Beach, groceries, restaurants, boat ramps and The Whitewater Amphitheater rigglht on the Horseshoe where we went tubing. Oh and on the resort we enjoyed a nice walk to the lakeshore where we fished, put chairs in the water and enjoyed the breeze!!!
