This place was amazing. One of the best restaurants all around I’ve been to in a long time. Service was stellar, the food was ridiculously good, and honestly being able to make a reservation is a gift when you want to be sure you can eat without a wait on the island. Not a single item on the menu felt like an afterthought. The oysters Rockefeller are a must try, all the seafood was beyond fresh and so flavorful. The best fried shrimp and oysters I’ve maybe ever had. The steak was ridiculously good too. Also so cool to see where they are getting their ingredients from locally.
We went to this restaurant to experience southern food on vacation. All of the food tasted delicious. The reason for four stars instead of five stars is because the Jambalaya Pasta hardly contained any shrimp. The complimentary biscuits with peach jam were really good as well. If you want to go to this restaurant for dinner, make reservations.
This is a small little restaurant make sure and call to make reservations. We came on a Friday night with a party of 7 and the place was packed and gets pretty loud. We had the pimento cheese fritters and fried green tomatoes to start. They were both very good. They do have free Bisquits so be sure to ask for them, they are good and so is the jelly. I had the crusted Tuna and my wife had the special Crispy scored Flounder. Both were very good and cooked well. I recommend this place.
Great food and service! We were a group of 10, and they were very accommodating when we walked in 30 min before closing for lunch. They never rushed us, and the food was delicious. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and oysters, hush puppies, and red beans and rice were all excellent.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Great food for your money. Big portions! Bring your appetite. I had the farm burger. My wife had the down south grilled cheese. What a sandwich. You could definitely split it between two people. Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Don't let the outside facade fool you.
Great atmosphere, definitely smells like seafood right as you walk in. A bit pricey for the options they are giving you. However, the waffle in their small plates section was amazing! The glaze on top was delicious! Big enough to be a meal and it was under $10!
The food here is amazing. Soft biscuits and great hush puppies. I usually don't eat brussel sprouts, but they have bacon with brussel sprouts and it's awesome too. I ordered the TYB Hot Chicken with mashed potatoes. The portion size was way more than I had expected and the food was delicious. Service was also amazing; when we asked about the peach jam used, we were given 2 extra ramekins to take home. This place has some of the best service that I have ever experienced. Thanks Michelle! DON’T MISS THIS PLACE. We are visiting the island from Indiana and this has been the best place we have been so far. Hands down. We looked over it the first couple days due to the fact that it is in the same strip mall as a gas station, but boy are we mad that we did. Food was amazing! I had the Down South Grilled Cheese and my boyfriend had the Blackened Tuna Avocado Club. Their homemade fries are delicious and I ended up getting multiple drinks out of the 1 mimosa that I ordered Our server was so sweet and did a great job. Highly highly recommend this place. We WILL be back again before we head back to Indiana!
We stayed in Tybee for a month and ate here 3 times. Always amazing food and service, no matter how busy. The menu is great and the specials are fantastic! Highly recommend.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
First of all the name is deceiving, and it's located in a plaza with a gas station. Lots of locals eat here. Our food was fabulous, and service was great. Complimentary biscuits with jam. My hubby had green tomatoes and the buttermilk biscuit blue cheese bread pudding was amazing. I had the tuna with bourbon sweet potatoes very sweet and broccoli, everything was wonderful. So glad I saw an ad for this place, based on its name we wouldn't have gone thre
