The place has a lot of great things going for it: Good food, good layout, outdoor seating area, as well as some unique counter space for people that do not want to sit at the standard small tables. I've been here for brunch and couple team dinners, and got to say the food was pretty good. The burger that they have, if you just get it straight up, no alterations is quite amazing! Cocktail list is just as good as well. Havana Honey bear is delicious, but probably just for Winter. Summer you can feed me that Champagne problems all day. The one draw back I feel with this place is actually how much they have tried to pack in for such a small space. Not only that, they want people to sit outside, but don't have heaters. There were definitely a couple days I passed during the fall/winter into spring, where they set up all these tables, weather wasn't bad, but tough for a person to enjoy that outdoor space with no heat. Possibly in the works? I tend not to go here during the off season! (Spring/Summer).

If you're a couple, it's pretty easy to get a table outside.. But if you're planning to come in groups best make a reservation before coming down. Takes about 30 - 40mins wait time. Great for families and kids. Ample space to park strollers. There's not much of a view, and there are construction sites nearby. So you'll get a bunch of trucks passing by. Otherwise it's just nice to seat outside and enjoy the sun. Food: 1. Biscuit & Gravy with poached eggs (you gotta have this) $16 available only on weekends 2) Malted Pancakes (caution - may give you a heart attack). You might want to share this with someone. It's huge and heavy. $18 No regrets coming here. Worth it!

Sunday in Brooklyn is what every brunch spot aspires to be. It has it all: beautiful, cozy atmosphere, unbearably hip waitstaff, interesting cocktails, and absolutely phenomenal food. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I’ve ever had, the breakfast staples (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, even the avocado) were perfectly executed, and the malted pancakes... sweet Jesus, those pancakes will bring you to your knees. If the wait weren’t so terrible, this would be my go-to brunch spot every weekend. Fortunately, we snagged seats at the bar immediately when we went around 1pm on a Sunday.

Just came here to try the S’mores Soft Serve! It was very unique. Brought me back to days at camp by the fire. The outer layer is toasted marshmallow, while the inside is deliciously creamy dairy free chocolate soft serve! All I needed was a bonfire to complement the meal!

BEST.PANCKAKES.EVER seriously, hands down. If you have another suggestion I would love to hear it because I just don't think it's possible. My husband and I just recently stumbled/ walked past Sunday In Brooklyn about a month ago ad it has now become our go to brunch spot. THAT BEING SAID for those of you who don't like to wait for food and want to be seated right when you walk in the door before you can say table for four. DON'T GO HERE. I mean if you can get in before 10:30, absolutely give it a shot but you will be waiting for 10-20 minutes for that table of five you came in with. If you come after noon, there may be a good chance you won’t eat for an hour. Good news is there’s a really cute coffee shop off of Grand that you can go sit down and wait! Because believe it or not this place is totally worth it. Not only for the food, which is all beautifully made by the chef and his staff, (side note I highly recommend sitting at the bar top to watch them make the food because it's really amazing to see them work) but the staff at Sunday In Brooklyn is so amazing. Always greeted with a smile even when there's people lined out the door waiting to be seated the manager always says hello to us. We even had the pleasure of talking to one of the owners for a while. Highly recommend this place for people who love food and don't mind waiting if you're going to pop in during prime time, otherwise don't complain and come back, or set your alarm clock to 9:00 AM girl because those pancakes are calling your name GET UP EARLIER. Five stars for me! See y’all on Sunday at Sunday’s!
